| An Amazing Muskoka Getaway!
My wife, our two teenage children, and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dave and Alison's cottage. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and welcoming greeting that immediately made us feel at home.
The cottage was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was also perfect—conveniently situated between Gravenhurst and Bala, making it incredibly easy to run out for groceries, shopping, or any essentials we needed.
The grounds and waterfront were absolutely breathtaking. Our family made great use of the kayak and canoe almost every day. My daughter had a blast catching some good-sized largemouth bass right off the dock, while my son loved cliff jumping off the rocks. There was something for everyone to enjoy!
Dave and Alison were fantastic hosts and very easy to communicate with throughout our stay. They made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free.
We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and fun place to spend some time in Muskoka. We had an amazing family vacation and would love to come back again!

| We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was exceptionally comfortable and absolutely pristine—the cleanest we've ever rented. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into every detail, with beautiful designer touches throughout that made it feel both stylish and welcoming.
The waterfront setting was outstanding. Nestled on a small, quiet lake, it was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax. Whether enjoying coffee by the water in the morning or unwinding in the evening, the setting couldn't have been better.
If you're looking for a spotless, beautifully appointed cottage in a tranquil lakeside location, this is it. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

| We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could have needed. The linens and towels provided made our stay even more enjoyable.
The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, spices, and all the essentials, which made cooking meals easy and convenient. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The lake was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and very private—perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet and well-appointed retreat! The only problem is that it is very difficult to leave!

| Perfect from the moment we arrived. We were welcomed to Johannes Rock Haven with a bottle of wine and a lovely message board greeting. The cottage is gorgeous and well designed in its use of space. Everything we could have wanted or needed was there. The lake was lovely and warm and has a terrific raft with a ladder for swimming (we had a splash contest!). The a dock was fun for fishing and watching the sunsets. The rock faces surrounding the area are not only beautiful but everyone enjoyed 'conquering' the climb up the “T-Rex Rock” and jumping off the ledge. Having a non-motorized lake is the icing on the cake. Comfy beds, all linens provided and every modern convenience made our stay the BEST. We all want to come back again! Thanks for being such wonderful hosts, David and Alison.

| We had a great stay at Johannes Rock Haven.
The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, and we especially loved that linens and towels were all included.
It was extremely peaceful being on a quiet, non-motorized lake, and we took full advantage of the paddle boards and kayaks every day.
The location was also ideal — close to town, which made it convenient to grab groceries, and we really enjoyed the outdoor movie put on by the town of Gravenhurst.
Overall, my family truly loved our stay, and we would happily return.
