5 Star rating Superhost rating on another booking sight, but save by renting through this sight! Welcome to our beautiful tranquil cottage by the Lake Erie Beach of Port Ryerse. Breathe in the goodness and nature of the sunshine shores of Lake Erie, with kayaks included! Enjoy the activities of Lake Erie's waters, the warmest of all the Great Lakes. Ryerse beautiful beaches are rich with sand so no water shoes are required! The cottage and the village have an abundance of mature trees of the Carolinian Forest, giving the property an intimate cozy cottage feel. There are wooden decks located on the front and back of the cottage with a wood balcony on the second floor overlooking Younge's Creek, well known in the area for great fishing. The property includes a private campfire in the backyard by the ravine, the perfect place for s'mores, stories, and laughs. This area is also home to wildlife including waterfowl, song birds, owls, bald eagles, hawks, woodpeckers, deer, chipmunks, squirrels, raccoons, minks, and more! This cottage is only a short two minute walk to a private beach on Lake Erie and minutes from Port Dover. Turkey Point is about a 10 minute drive and only a 1/ 2hr drive to Long Point. If you're vising from out of town, the trip is approximately 2hrs from Toronto, and 1hr from Hamilton and Kitchener area.

- 3 bedrooms - including two king beds and one queen bed; Master includes a balcony overlooking the creek and electrical fireplace
- 2 newly renovated 3 piece bathrooms- one with a claw foot bathtub, the other with a large glass walled shower
- The cottage is heated with a gas fireplace, electric heat pump units, and electrical baseboards. Air conditioning is provided through the heat pump units

Rules:
-No pets unless agreed upon with the owner.
-No smoking in the cottage.
-The cottage is on a small septic system so we ask that you keep this in mind when using the water.
-The cottage must be left how you found it. A $500 deposit is required in case of damage/ failure to adequately clean the cottage/ leave it in the same condition it was found
Rentals are by the week in the summer unless a short week is shown in the rate section. Prices vary depending on the date/ time of the year. Please note that upon inquiring about the rental, a cottage detail document will be sent containing all the information you need to know.

| The cottage is very nice, clean ,quiet private backyard and on a quiet street. So close to the beach and local residents are very friendly . Had a great long walk round the neighbourhood and everyone always waved or stopped for a chat. Bed was very comfortable will definately stay again .

| This cottage is a little piece of heaven: the owners are friendly and respond promptly to enquiries. This is our second time renting from them and we look forward to many more! The layout is unique, with big windows facing the private backyard and beyond it, the incredible view of the forest which descends down to the creek, which forms part of the Long Point Birding Trail. Enjoy your coffee on the deck outside the master bedroom and take in the fresh air and birdsong. Perfect romantic escape for these two nature lovers.

| Ryerse's Retreat it was just that ,peaceful, lots room, beds are very comfortable, new washrooms with shower and tub,2 minutes walk to the water, all amenities are there, Bill was very helpful with ideas what to see in the area and for take out food, we will be back thank you
