Walk into this cottage and you are immersed in Lake Huron beachfront serenity! With an open concept, and panoramic glass-front views on both levels, you can enjoy the beach cottage life. From sunny days on the private beach, to stunning sunsets and amazing stargazing from both upper and lower decks. You won't want to leave! This vacation spot offers: -Cozy main floor bedroom with double bed and lots of storage. -Spiral staircase to a spacious loft with queen sized bed, lake views and access to the sunny, upper level deck. -Kitchen with lots of space and an antique, industrial butcher table. (glass-top stove, tabletop oven, and assorted small appliances). -Main-floor bathroom with large tub/ shower and storage cubbies for everyone's essentials.
-Large main floor deck with BBQ, table and plenty of seating.
-Stormy night? Curl up in front of the smart TV/DVD player, watch cable, or use the stereo or WiFi.
-Ideally located just south of Port Albert which has a general store with takeout, a restaurant/pub, groceries, vegetable stand, ice cream, and gas.
-Goderich (10 minutes), Kincardine (25 minutes) and Stratford (45 minutes), have restaurants, shops, and activities.
-Plenty of hiking trails and fishing spots in the area.
This is our beloved cottage of 50 plus years, built by our family with a little help from our friends and neighbours. Much of the structure was built using repurposed wood rescued from the demolition of the historic Sunset Hotel (circa 1903-1971) in Goderich. In fact, our living room flooring actually used to be their original ballroom floor and our large butcher block table came from the kitchen there! We're not a polished, corporate rental venue but we cherish our unique quirks and friendly, relaxing atmosphere. Did we mention that the upstairs is geodesic dome?
We're a small, close knit community that values the serenity of our little slice of heaven. You're going to love it here!

The kitchen does not have an oven but does have a larger toaster oven and crock pot. In Goderich there is paddle board etc rentals at the beach. (Surfs Up). Papple Aviation provides scenic tours at an affordable price along the Lake from Goderich Airport or their home in Seaforth please Google for details. Linens and pillows are not provided. | We loved this private beach with lake views from both decks and the great room. Upper deck just outside bedroom loft allowed clear evening star gazing and breeze on warm days. Main level bedroom seemed small at 1st but was all we needed with plenty of storage for luggage and hanging racks. Fully stocked cottage kitchen kept us on site at the beach on sunny days.

| Let's just say if you're wanting a breath taking view you are defiantly making the right choice with this cottage. The cottage offers panoramic views of Lake Huron. And a great set of stairs to get you right down onto the beach. Linda is a very good property manager that acts fast and responds quickly to any text you send her way.
We would def book again for another family vacation.
