For 2026 the cottage will now have a split unit heating a/ c system installed.
This is a very private quiet location,
the cottage is perfect for smaller families with a limit of 6 people (4 adult max). Set on beautiful Round Lake in the Kawarthas, this cottage is less than a 2-hour drive from the GTA. Clear water lake approximately 2km by 2km with accessible rivers and bays to explore and fish. This traditional family cottage will let you connect back with nature and unplug. This is a very quiet cottage with a neighbour on only one side, at the end of the cottage road with no vehicle traffic. Enjoy roasting marshmallows on the outdoor fireplace, great swimming and boating. The shoreline boasts a sand rock bottom with a shallow play area yet deep enough to dive off the end of the dock. Great sitting area at dockside. Two docks allow for ample room to park watercraft you may be bringing. With a boat launch 1 minute away, you could easily have transportation on the lake. Round Lake is famous for its excellent muskie, walleye and bass fishing for those anglers wishing to stay. Great fishing for kids with endless sunfish and great bass fishing right off the dock.Three kayaks, an aluminum fishing boat (no motor), and a canoe are included for families to use.
Perfect for families with young children, the property has a swing set, basketball net as well as other outdoor games available for play.
The cottage also now has wifi.
Large deck with barbecue and a beautiful outdoor eating area with direct access to the kitchen.
The cottage boasts an open concept living area with a rustic feel, perfect for gathering around family board games, or a movie night. Enjoy the comfort of the screened in porch and listen to the calls of the loons.

| We had such a wonderful stay at this cottage over the last two days. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for in a relaxing getaway. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
The surroundings were stunning, and we especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and cozy touches throughout the cottage. It was the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy time away.

| We stayed at Percy's cottage twice this summer and loved both of our weeks. This is a unique cottage experience as it is beautifully positioned at the point with lots of land, space, privacy and very close to the water. The cottage was clean, rustic and cozy and the dock was the perfect place to sit from morning to night to watch the sunrise, the loons, otters, turtles and the beautiful pink skies at night. The outdoor deck and fire-pit were great for dinners and nighttime fires. Percy was a fantastic host, being very friendly, gracious and kind. He is quickly available if you need him, but also respects your privacy. We highly recommend this cottage getaway. We will be back!

| We've stayed at this cottage on Round Lake in Havelock for two years in a row and love it every time. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and just steps from the lake. The dock is perfect for relaxing with a coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening. It's only about 15 minutes from the town of Havelock, so you're close enough for groceries or a quick bite, but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing lakeside getaway!

| We had a fantastic week at Round Lake Retreat. A wonderful lake for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. A super location for anyone looking for peace & quiet. Percy was a great host, easy to get a hold of, and the boat ride was really nice treat! Already looking forward to next year.
