2 Car driveway with extra parking directly across the road. Access to the cabin given via lockbox.

If you forget something, you can find basic groceries at the Country Highlands Store, only a few kms away. Or Perth is about a 30 minute drive and Lanark 20 minutes.

-- Staying Connected --
The cabin does not have cable or wifi and cell reception can be low. In the case of emergency, there is wifi at the Country Highlands Store, only a few km away.

-- Fees and Notes --
A 50% deposit is due at time of booking.

Remaining balance plus $300 damage deposit is due 14 days before check in. **We expect the cabin to be left in the same condition as when you arrive, including cleaning up and removing garbage. Failure to do so will result in using a portion of the damage deposit to have the cabin cleaned.**

Optional cleaning service $150, if you would like the cabin cleaned for you after your stay.

Optional bedding fee $60, if you would like sheets provided for all the beds.

Optional paddle boat rental $50, use of the paddle boat for your whole stay (only available during the summer season).

*Note The dock is not available during the off seasons.

Lead renter must be at least 30 years old.

Is the water drinkable?
Yes, the water is sourced from our well. It has been tested and is safe for cooking and drinking.

Is there propane provided?
Yes, we provide a tank of propane for the BBQ.

Is there firewood provided?
Yes, we provide firewood.

Is there parking?
Yes, the main driveway can hold 2 vehicles. If needed, there is extra parking directly across the street.

Is the water swimmable? Is the water shallow at the shore?
Yes, the water is great for swimming and fishing! Most of the time, the water is about tummy height at the end of the dock.

Is there a boat launch?
Yes, there are two on the lake. One is private and Sylvania Lodge, it costs a small fee to use the launch. The other is at the Dalhousie Lake public beach, and is free to use.
