This 3-bedroom, 2 full bathroom lakefront cottage has wall to wall south-facing windows on the upper floor, including an unforgettable corner daybed with panoramic views, perfect for reading and relaxing.
The door off the kitchen leads you right onto the deck over the water. You can't get any closer than that!
See the gorgeous sunrises, watch the stars at night and listen to the loons on this clean, deep, beautiful lake. Pike Lake is great for fishing; in fact one of the best spots on the lake is right in front of the cottage!
In winter: try ice fishing! Or go cross country skiing or snowshoeing across the lake, stay warm near the cozy woodstove. How about stopping by for a weekend while on a snowmobile trip? Easy access from the lake to the kitchen door. We have an extensive library of books, DVD's, puzzles and board games for you to enjoy, plus high speed Internet and satellite TV.
In fall: see the gorgeous colours, take a hike on the numerous trails at Foley Mountain Conservation Area (only 9 minute drive from the cottage), visit Perth's Night Market and Westport's live music and fall fair events.
In spring: explore the property and watch as the extensive gardens wake up and come to life (including an extensive herb garden to add to those culinary creations!)
Inside the cottage: the gourmet kitchen has everything you need to make your culinary (and baking) creations. The bunkie has a weight machine and an exercise machine for your use.
Outside the cottage: Take out the canoe or the kayaks, use the wooden swing with panoramic views, sit under the gazebo on the patio furniture, reading a book, or having great conversations. If you go out early in the morning most days in summer and fall, the lake is like glass and there are numerous islands to explore.
If you really need to work while at the cottage, know that the cell service is poor, but we have Starlink! You have access to high speed Internet and the ability to stream movies.
Only 75 minutes from Ottawa, the cottage is on Pike Lake and conveniently located between Perth and Westport, where there are numerous unique shops and great restaurants.
