| Our group (6 adults) had the pleasure of staying here over the 2024 Canada Day Long Weekend. Upon arrival, we were extremely impressed with the grounds, how well kept and clean the cottage was, and the beautiful view of the lake.
The pictures really don't do it justice. The Moka Bay Family Cottage exceeded our expectations. Despite our weekend weather being mostly rainy/cold, we still enjoyed the large selection of board games, the ping pong table and both the upstairs and downstairs TV setups.
The beds were extremely comfy, the bathrooms were spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed, and more.
We have nothing but great things to say about this property, and we can't wait to visit again. Thanks a ton Mo and Karen!

| We had an absolutely wonderful Easter weekend stay at this charming family cottage by the lake! From when we arrived, we were loved the picturesque surroundings and the serene atmosphere. The cottage was very clean and cozy, with all the amenities we could need for a comfortable stay.
The highlight, of course, was the breathtaking view of the lake. We spent time sipping coffee in the morning watching the sunrise and enjoyed the stunning sunsets.
Karen and Mo were incredibly welcoming and available, ensuring that we had everything we needed for our stay. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly made us feel at home.
Overall, our experience at this family cottage was excellent. It was the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, and we can't wait to return for another unforgettable getaway. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat amidst nature!

| We had a wonderful stay at Moka Bay Cottage! There were plenty of activities for us to do outside, on the lake, and even inside the cottage on a rainy day that we had. There was plenty of space for our group and the sandy bottom and clear water right off the dock was amazing, and the view is beautiful! Karen was easy to communicate and always there to answer any of our questions. I would definitely recommend a stay with them at Moka Bay Cottage!

| Myself, a friend, and our 3 teenage kids loved our MoKa Bay experience. The cottage itself was beautiful; updated with modern conveniences but still had a wonderful rustic, cottage feel. The open concept on the top floor was perfect, the kitchen was well stocked, and the windows and natural light was wonderful. Having 2 washrooms was super handy and the kids loved the rec room and bunkie. The cottage does not have A/C but it was no issue for us as there are fans in every room, and it cooled down in the evenings for sleeping. While the neighbouring cottages are fairly close, we pretty much had the Bay to ourselves during our time there. We were surprised with how quiet the area was from boat traffic. The water off the dock was beautiful for swimming, the lily pad is always a hit, and the canoe was perfect for our fishers as it had proper seats and rod holders! We also brought our own paddleboards and fishing kayak with us, so we enjoyed time on the water immensely. Fort Irwin marina which is a short drive away was a real gem, the owners were really lovely. They have an LCBO depot and a small store. We also rented a small fishing boat from them for a couple of days. Part of our crew went golfing for a day at Lakeside Golf Club. While a drive to check out Haliburton is worthwhile, we supported the Eagle Country Market - closer drive than Haliburton and they seemed to have everything we needed. Dealing with Karen was pleasant and easy. Looking forward to returning!
