Waterfront cottage located on the Moon River. This 4 bedroom cottage comfortably sleeps 10. Enjoy the picturesque view from the deck that spans the full length of the cottage. Or head down the gently sloped staircase to the water. This property has a gradual sandy beach entry as well as a dock for lounging and swimming. Direct access to this beautiful lake provides the perfect opportunity for swimming, fishing and watersports. Minutes from the Moon River boat launch, bring or rent your own boat if interested in exploring the lake extensively. Or enjoy exploring the lake on our stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Standard and child life jackets available. Lily Pad floatation anchored 10 feet off the dock, great for playing and lounging in the water. Sand toys for children provided. Lots of grass for kids to play on at the waterfront and in the front and backyard. New lakeside patio and fire pit provide a new space to enjoy. This cottage is located a short five-minute walk to the quaint town of Bala. Bala has everything you need to enjoy a week at the cottage. Foodland Grocery Store, LCBO and best of all, Don's Bakery! Bala is also the home of the SWS ski show, The KEE, and a handful of restaurants! The cottage is also conveniently located only 20 minutes away from both Gravenhurst and Port Carling, offering close proximity to the most popular hubs of the Muskoka region! 5-15 minute walking distance to 3 playgrounds.

Fully Renovated Kitchen with all new appliances including dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Keurig, and kettle. Fully stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking utensils. Propane Weber BBQ. Eat-in kitchen with comfortable seating for 8-10 people. The water is safe for drinking and the kitchen tap has a carbon filter. Outdoor dining for 10+ people. This cottage is equipped with television, DVD/VCR player, wifi and a power generator. Parking for 4 cars. Washer and dryer.
This is a year round property on a municipal road which is plowed in the winter. The property is connected to municipal water.
Small Hypoallergenic dogs considered.
Basic toiletries supplied (toilet paper, paper towel, shampoo and conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent). Pillows provided, bedding, towels and kitchen linens provided.

| Our 3 generation family group of 10 have rented Sarah's family cottage for 4 summers in a row. (most recently Aug. 2025) We love the sunny, south facing location, sunset views off the dock and shade when needed. The large lot has grassy spaces for kids to play and the fire pit is a relaxing gathering spot in the evenings. It's an easy walk into town for groceries, takeaway food and restaurants. Sarah is very organized (informative binder at cottage) and quick to respond to booking details or any questions during your stay. The cottage is equipped with everything you need for the water, (canoe, kayaks, standup paddle boards, beach toys, life jackets) The kitchen is large, modern and VERY well stocked.The outdoor dining table adjacent to the BBQ was perfect for our group of 10 and gave shelter from sun and rain. (indoor dining area also large). Although we loved that you never needed to get in the car while at this cottage, Hardy Lake Provincial Park was a short drive away with great hiking trails and views. The kids enjoyed the water ski show every Tuesday (walkable) and the Farmers Market in the park with a large beach/playground that we could walk or canoe to. The shallow entry at the cottage waterfront was perfect and everyone loved playing and lounging on the "lily pad". Fishing off the dock was successful and Bala Falls up the Moon River was fun to explore. If the weather is rainy, the cottage is stocked with books, board games and smart TV. Highly recommended.

| Our family group of 9 (ages 2 - 70) had a wonderful vacation at Sarah's cottage. We have rented many condos /cottages over the years and none have been as well equipped and maintained as this one. Everything you could possibly need for a family vacation is available and of good quality. Once booked we received a document that itemized everything in the cottage, along with details like garbage pickup, cottage on town water etc. Really helps with packing! Sarah always responded quickly to any questions we had and checkin was easy. The beach/dock area had all day sun and it was a quick walk into town to Don's Bakery, takeaway, grocery store, LCBO ,restaurants playgrounds etc. We never used the car ! The kayaks, canoe and SUP boards were great for exploring the Moon River. The kids loved the "lily pad" and helped them make more use of the water than they would have without it. The new fire pit and seating area was enjoyed often. (firewood included). The beds were very comfortable with blackout curtains. The living area was well stocked with games, puzzles and books in very good condition. (kids/adults) There was nothing we could find lacking in the kitchen. So many sitting areas and both the outdoor and indoor eating areas easily accommodated our group. Lovely gardens and big grassy lawn areas for the kids to roam around and play. The beach area was particularly good for the little ones with sand toys and inflatables provided. Lovely sunsets from the dock. Hope to return!

| We had a great time at Sarah's cottage. The cottage was perfect for our family. It was kept super clean and had so many activities for our group with young kids. The dock area, grass area, fire pit and beautiful clear and calm moon river water was a delight! There was also lots of fish to catch off the dock and lots of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, sand toys, safety vests to use as well. Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The location was also wonderful because we could take the kids to restaurants and activities near by either by walking in Bala or driving (port carling, Gravenhurst are very close). We hope to return again soon!

| We had an absolutely lovely stay! The cottage was incredibly clean and well maintained. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and replied promptly to all of our questions. We had a group of 9 and it was plenty spacious for all of us to have our own space, enjoy family meals and play games on a rainy day. My absolutely favourite was the beautiful waterfront dock that got sun all day. Oh and we really enjoyed the short walk in to town.

| Perfect Muskoka Vacation
From the moment we pulled into the driveway we were in love. This was truly a cottage but with that warm welcoming upscale feel. The cottage feature the perfect blend of natural
Wood and upgrades.
This trip has been the highlight of our summer this far. I finally see the hype about Muskoka and cottage life.
Sarah thought of everything. The perfectly curated welcome package made us feel so special - she knew what we would love without us even mentioning it.
Out favourite spot was by the water. Both on the dock but also the fire pit. It was like a heavenly feeling being able to sit by the water and observe the stillness and tranquility. We were able to sit back relax and enjoy the fire pit perfect for s'mores and fireside chats.
There's no space that was unused. We loved being able to hang everywhere. Even sitting on top of the small hill to overlook the property shaded by large oak trees.
This was a phenomenal experience and will stay with us. We were catered to in small
ways and able to sit and unwind and relax in an amazing space.
The cottage was close to all we needed but tucked away for privacy.
We will be back. Thanks for having us.
