welcome to, Tall Pines cottage!

Truly the ultimate spot to Unplug, Recharge, and Relax. Located near the end of a dead-end street, Tall Pines Cottage sits on 113 feet of quiet and clean weed-free shoreline with an 12'x16' dock. There are two boat launches on Forest Lake, so bring up your toys with you! If you don't have any, feel free to jaunt around in the canoe, paddle board or kayaks (paddles and four adult sized life-jackets available, you are responsible for child-sized life jackets) Fabulous fishing in summer or winter! If you are an avid Angler, keep in mind that Forest Lake is home to the South River Fishing Tournament in late summer. Lastly, the dock faces a southern exposure so you can enjoy the sunshine all day long.
Enjoy a nice meal on the deck looking overlooking the lake.
There is also a fully enclosed screened in area, attached to the deck over looking the lake.

Tall Pines Cottage is located in Joly Township and is only a 10-15 minute drive from Sunny Sundridge where you can find Foodland, LCBO, The Bernard Bistro, A natural water Spring, and Centennial Park on Lake Bernard. You can also trek on over to South River for a tour of the Highlander Brewery, or take a 25 minute drive right into Algonquin Park. The travel time from Toronto is 2.5-3.0 hours, depending on the time you get on the road.

Just a perfect spot - as advertised. Cottage has everything you need and it's close to amenities in Sundridge and South River. Geoff is a great host, responds quickly to any questions. Our whole family was sad to leave - would stay again in a heartbeat.

What can we say! The cottage was perfect, the lake was beautiful and our family had such an incredible time, canoeing, paddle boarding and kayaking and just enjoying the cottage and the outdoors! The cottage was clean safe and comfortable, we would absolutely love to go back and spend more time!
Geoff was an incredible host! Don't hesitate to book, you won't regret your time here!

Scott thanks for the great review and we would Welcome you and your family back anytime.

Thank you Geoff

Really enjoyed our stay last week. The cottage is on a dead end road and as one of the last few cottages it's very quiet. There are cottages on both sides but with the landscaping/trees etc. it still feels very private.

We've stayed at a lot of cottages and the beds are usually uncomfortable, but the queen in the main bedroom was great - It's also on the second floor with its own balcony.

The rest is all good news as well - usable wifi, smart tv, stocked kitchen, full shower/tub. We will certainly be back.

Thank you Aaron for the great review and look forward to seeing you and the family again.

Geoff

What a great week to reset! Exactly as described. Clean, spacious living areas, both inside and out. The screened in porch was a beautiful bonus! From coffee each morning to after dinner drinks, this 'room' was well-used. Our pup loved the room to run and the small water entry, for swimming. Just a small note, that a neighbour's dog liked to frequent the property, so as long as your pup is not opposed to a visitor, you'll be fine. Canoe and kayaks were used daily on the beautiful lake - like glass! Views were incredible...thanks for sharing your home with our family, Geoff!!

Sandi thank you for the great review.

Geoff

Our stay at 71 Tall Pines was absolutely perfect! The well-maintained property is peaceful and beautiful, with stunning sunrises, sunsets, and loon calls to enjoy over morning coffee or an evening cocktail. We spent our days swimming in the clean and weed-free water and exploring the quiet lake by kayak and canoe. The two docks complete with Muskoka chairs made relaxing and water access so easy, and we loved lounging on the large deck and playing games in the screened-in area. The kitchen was very well-stocked, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire space felt welcoming and cozy. Geoff was wonderful—always kind and available for any questions, which made our stay worry-free. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.
