| We were searching for a tranquil getaway and luckily found this spot. Tucked away on a quiet bay of pristine Forest Lake, this cottage was an ideal retreat with all the amenities. Cottage has a well stocked kitchen for indoor cooking as well as bbq on the deck, coffee machine, etc. Lots of seating to suit the weather with covered decks on both levels, cozy wood burning fire and large TV for rainy days, screened sunroof and large deck as well as two docks and the ever important fire pit beside the lake. Beds are super comfy and area is private and quiet. Cottage is clean and well maintained and the grounds were the same. Lots of cut firewood inside the cottage and down by the fire pit. We took advantage of the kayaks and canoe and found a winding gently river mouth just around the bay. Ideal as we are a little inexperienced in kayaks. Country road is quiet for nice walks and we did bring our bikes for some rides but there are a few challenging hills. In the evening we would often see beavers and ducks swim by. Local grocery store and LCBO and local distillery provide last minute items. Biking around Sundridge led us to a few good sightseeing spots on Bernard Lake. You can also do a day trip to Algonquin ,1 hour away, on HWy 60 route. We went in October but will be booking Summer as the water area looks perfect.

| Wonderful cottage with all the amenities you need for a great holiday. Large deck, 2 docks. Sand beach area for kids and you can swim off dock. We enjoyed just being able to relax in the sun. They even have a DVD player and some DVDs to watch on a rainy day or at night. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

| Beautiful property and very peaceful lake! We absolutely loved our stay here. There's a beautiful patio looking out to the lake and also a great fire pit right by the water. Our two kids (aged 12 and 10) enjoyed paddling around in the kayaks and paddle board, and we also used the canoe to explore the lake. The water was weed free and the dock was great for jumping off of or just sitting back and relaxing! Lots of comfortable Muskoka chairs as well. The cottage is very comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped for meal preps. The cottage was very clean as well. The owner was available to answer questions and provided all the info needed before arrival. We would not hesitate to rent this cottage again!

| After renting multiple cottages over the years, we can honestly say that this one rates as one of our top 3! We feel so fortunate that Geoff (the cottage owner) was able to accommodate the 2 of us with our 2 dogs. The cottage is everything you'd expect from the pictures & so much more! We really enjoyed getting out in the canoe, kayaking, & paddle boarding on this beautiful, serene lake. We'll definitely try to rent again next year!

| I can't say enough about this cottage! It sits right on the water and has 2 docks, canoes, and kayaks for free use. The water is deep enough to dive off the dock, and there's also a small area to wade in. The back deck is very large with a dining table, BBQ, and Muskoka chairs. Inside is tastefully furnished with absolutely everything you need in the kitchen. The bedrooms are comfortable enough and there's a TV in the larger one, Really the only things you need to bring are towels, bedding, and toiletries.
The area is beautiful and very secluded - we had to drive down some long gravel roads to get there. Just what we wanted! There's a small town nearby, and the largest is Huntsville, about an hour away.
Our only issue was the internet connection - it's not that great. Wi-Fi is unreliable and there's only minimal TV stations (although there are a few DVDs. Geoff, the owner, did everything in his power to help, but because of satellites etc, it's as good as it's going to get.
Highly recommended for families or a romantic getaway for 2.
