Sunset Dunes offers an exclusive seaside lifestyle on what is arguably PEI's best south shore beach. The community is located between Summerside and Charlottetown, less than 10 minutes from the Confederation Bridge and less than 45 minutes from the Charlottetown airport. The expansive private beach offers safe shallow waters among the warmest north of the Carolinas. Gateway Village in Bordon has a variety of restaurants and specialty shops, including the famous Cow's Ice Cream, just eight minutes to the west. Or, travel east 10 minutes to walk the quaint tree-lined streets of historic Victoria-by-the-Sea, with its incredible seafood restaurants, cafes and live summer theatre. Sunset Dunes residents enjoy four-season paved road access and extensive natural areas of common open space. Lots 51 ($65,000+HST), 52 ($65,000+HST), and 54 (NOW SOLD), each roughly one acre in size, offer west sunset views of Northumberland Strait and the Confederation Bridge in the distance. Prices have been reduced substantially as these are our last two lots for sale in PEI, and we are redirecting our focus elsewhere. These lots are a short walk to the beach, and also to the Traverse River Estuary where you can put in your kayak and explore the river or let the waters carry you to the dunes at the river mouth. Contact Waterfront Living to find out how you can become part of this exceptional seaside community! Other Town/Lake/Area: | Cape Traverse |
Note: From the Confederation Bridge, take the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy 1) a short distance, then turn right onto Highway 10 and carry on for about five minutes, then turn right onto Bells Point Road, and then left onto Campbells Way. From Charlottetown or the airport, take the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy 1) west to Tryon then turn left onto Highway 10, go about seven minutes and then turn left onto Bells Point Road, and then left again onto Campbells Way.
