RENTAL FEE FOR WEEKS IN JULY AND AUGUST ARE $7,000.00 for the upcoming 2025 season. Please note we only rent weekly from June to September including Labor Day. A true hidden gem! Our four-season executive waterfront cottage rental is located on beautiful Lake Erie in Wheatley which is the Freshwater Fish Capital of the World! (12km East of Leamington, close to the 401 Highway) We offer a large private, protected sandy beach with 400 feet of lakefront and 450 feet of creek. Privately treed Carolinian lot nestled on 3 acres. Extra large cottage that sleeps up to 16 people. Plenty of parking available. Our cottage includes a fully stocked kitchen, fridge/ freezer combination, stove/oven, dishwasher, Keurig, toaster, microwave and a breakfast nook.
Wheatley is a Birder's Paradise as it is located on the flight path for many migratory birds and monarch butterflies. This attracts birders from around the world. A few to mention are bald eagles, egrets, terns, blue heron, ducks, warblers etc. The cottage is close to Wheatley Provincial Park, Kopegaron Woods, Hillman Marsh, Point Pelee National Park, Rondeau Provincial Park. Take a ferry and spend a day on Pelee Island, biking, hiking, swimming or having a glass of wine while drinking in an oversized wine barrel.
Only 30-40km from the Erie Shores Wine Route and fine dining in Kingsville (Mettawa's, Jack's, Gastro Pub, O'Saracinos Trittoria, The Grove, Brew House etc.).
Talbot Trail Golf 9 hole golf course minutes away. Erie Shores Golf & Country Club and Orchard View are both 18 holes and are within 20-30 minute drive.
Bring your canoe, kayak/paddle board to enjoy either the canal or the Lake. Catch or buy local perch. Local fishing charters are available seasonally by third parties (perch, walleye, trout etc.) Port Facilities available at the Wheatley Harbour.

| We've had the pleasure of staying at this cottage twice now, and it truly feels like a home away from home. Each visit has been just as wonderful as the last. The space is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and full of charm; it strikes that perfect balance between cozy and spacious, making it ideal for relaxing and spending quality time together.
One of our absolute favourite features is the private beach area. Having that peaceful space to unwind by the water, especially with the added bonus of the fireplace, made our evenings so special and memorable.
The hosts were absolutely wonderful! They were so kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. You can really tell they take pride in this property, and it shows in every detail.
We wouldn't hesitate to return again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable getaway

| This has to be one of the most beautiful Cottage rentals around. The home was immaculate and the space in the yard is massive. No Neighbours fantastic. The beach is awesome.
My cousins and I enjoyed our weekend together. We are hoping to return next year on the same weekend.

| Beautiful cottage and even better view, property and beach Front. Cottage is very spacious, with nice perks like the hot tub. There is lots to do either on the property or parks etc close by. The BEST part is the customer service. We had lost a sentimental toy during our stay. After contacting the owners, they happily looked and found the toy, they even hand delivered it to our home. We are extremely grateful for their consideration and shows how much care the owners take. Would rate greater if I could, highly recommend.

We had a fantastic week with kids who could run around outside, enjoy the private beach, play games, etc.
Melyse was very helpful and answered any questions we had. It was well maintained and we really enjoyed our week here.

| Had the most amazing time at this cottage. We were a group of 11 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs and the house was perfect. Beautiful place inside out with lots to do both indoors and outdoors. Photos don't do justice to this place. Melyse was very helpful and responded to all our queries instantly. The entire experience was wonderful and would highly recommend staying here with a large group or family.
