The Kubi waterfront cottage is a year round access cottage and only 8kms away from Calabogie Peaks Ski hill. No power outage. We have an automatic generator in case power is out! Sleeps 4-6 Max , 2 Bedrooms, 1 Sofa Bed, 1 Full Bathroom, Well equipped kitchen, Wifi Unlimited Air Conditioner Generator Kayak Canoe Pedal boat Paddle board Life Jackets Electric heater Wood stove Firewood Our waterfront property is located on a very clean and quiet Madawaska River. It is a natures lover place. It is very ideal for a small family or a couple. Great area for kayaking, fishing, canoeing, swimming, and watching some nature's wilds. Eagle's Nest lookout for a fabulous hike, golfing nearby, and Calabogie Motorsports Park. We provide clean linens and set up all ready for the guests' convenience. We also provide towels, hand soap, dish soap, bathroom tissue, paper towels, and a few complimentary items like sugar, coffee, coffee mate, mini shampoo, mini bar soap, toothbrush, toothpaste. We provide drinking water (5 gallons) but it is the guest's responsibility to buy a refill if they need more. *Does not apply for monthly rentals. No cleaning fee but we do make sure the cottage is cleaned well before new guests arrives. No daily maid service. The property is to be left clean. The guest should remove leftover foods and bring their garbages with them upon checking out.
We do have unlimited internet, smart TV, Alexa, books, and some board/card games for entertainment. Enjoy paddling using our free-of-charge kayak, canoe, paddle board, and pedal boat.
Our cottage has a newly renovated washroom with a stand-up shower and a heated floor. We do have a window air conditioner, electric baseboard heaters, and a wood stove. Two bedrooms with new double beds and a sofa bed. we do not have a dining table but instead a large counter bar style for eating and drinking.
Only seconds away from the main road and a minute away from gasoline station, restaurants, and stores like a general store, grocery, hardware, and LCBO. Calabogie Peaks Ski hill is only 8 minutes away.
Our Cottage is open all year. There is snow removal and a laundromat nearby. There is an automatic generator so no power outages for guests' convenience especially during winter season. We prefer online banking Email transfer.

| Cozy well stocked cottage:) Cute cottage on the water, with everything you need on site for a relaxing stay! Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of supplies? they even stocked personal items in case you forgot something like a toothbrush, shampoo, etc. Clean and tidy. We Didn't want to leave! We had sun and rain during our stay and enjoyed every minute. The blue kayak was so comfortable and we enjoyed time in the water with the pool noodles and on land playing games we brought. Neighbors are quiet. The river feels more like a lake than a river, ie no strong curent. There are some weeds but when the water level is high I was able to avoid them on my pool noodle lol:)
Excellent interaction with owner:) She reached out to make sure we were comfortable and always responded friendly and quickly. Another couple joined us a couple nights and there was plenty of room for the four of us. The only negative is the Wifi/Cell reception was a bit spotty but I noticed it was spotty no matter where we were in Calibogue, ie The Redneck bistro, Calibogue Brewery Co., etc. Not a deal breaker. We definitely want to stay here again!!

| Well, what can I say. This cottage is incredible and offered everything that my family needed to enjoy an incredible week together. My partner and I along with our 4 children ranging in ages 4-17 had the best time ever.
The cottage interior is incredibly clean, nicely updated, with tasteful decor. Providing the linens and towels was topping on the cake. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and the air conditioning was awesome for a good nights sleep. Wi-fi worked well.
The property itself is a great size to enjoy games outside, fire pit, deck and the furniture was all awesome. My kids especially loved using the kayaks, paddleboard and canoe all provided too!
I was shocked at how peaceful the river was - not much boating traffic led to a very peaceful and serene spot. My boys fished a lot and brought home some great keepers. Swimming was also incredible and you could jump off the dock no problem and enjoy a lovely swim.
Jovita was an amazing host, with great communication and happy to answer any question I may have had in a very timely manner. You really can't ask for much better than this experience!
The local "Bogie" store, along with the grocery store had any essential you needed. We also visited the beach at the Calabogie Peaks - everything is very close by.
This cottage exceeded my expectations, everything was above and beyond - leading to an incredible family vacation. I would recommend this cottage to absolutely anyone!

| My friends and I stayed at the Kubi cottage and we had a great experience. The cottage is very clean, organized and well maintained. It is located by the Madawaska River and ideal for outdoor and water activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, aqua cycling, swimming and etc. The owners Harry and Jovita are very accommodating, provided everything we need, made sure we enjoyed our stay and that we are comfortable. There is a full kitchen if you want to cook and a barbecue grill at the deck. The bed was the best. I had the most comfortable sleep. It is also located nearby a general store for your basic needs and few minutes away from the town and other attractions like the Calabogie peaks, motorsports park and hike the Manitou Mountain trail to reach the breathtaking view at Eagle's Nest lookout. In a nutshell, we had the most amazing vacation and looking forward to stay here again in the future.

| My wife and I recently enjoyed a fun, relaxing week at Kubi Cottage and despite a few days of unsettling weather (thunder and lightening storms) we still had a great time. The cottage itself was nicely layed out, clean and well equipped. We really appreciated the coffee station, abundance of towels and other complimentary items which helped make our stay that much more enjoyable!
The inside decor and outside grounds are well maintained and it's obvious both Jovita and Harold take pride in presenting their property as such. All interactions with the owners from front to back were seamless, thus making our experience with this rental that much more amazing.
