The Whippoorwill Cottage is a very charming and qaint cottage located on Crow Lake, Tichborne ON. It is perfect for couples or small families. It has been recently renovated and has a full kitchen, private deck, outdoor dining area , BBQ and fire pit. This cottage is located within Browns Lakeview Cottages & Campground, a lovely spacious seasonal campground with 40 campsites over 40 acres of land. There is a playground onsite, marina style docking slips and a designed shared swimming area with both shallow and deep areas to swim. We also have a designed area for our furry friends to cool off in the lake. (Dogs must be on leash)
Along with staying lakeside to beautiful Crow Lake, you will also have full access to Bobs Lake by boat! Both lakes boast of excellent fishing and swimming. Crow Lake is spring fed and is an extremely clean and clear lake. Try your luck fishing walleye, bass, pike or lake trout on both of these amazing lakes! We have a separate fish cleaning house on site for fishing enthusiasts! Take a boat trip down to the Crow Lake Cliffs which are popular jumping rocks with the locals for a thrilling cliff jumping experience!
Docking and boat and motor/
watercraft rentals are available add-ons to your stay. Reservations are recommended if you wish to book water-crafts to ensure availability as they are very popular. The campground consists of 40 seasonal campsites, and 3 additional cottages on the property. The amazing views from this cottage are sure to impress as the land across the lake is completely untouched. The grounds at Browns Lakeview Cottages and Campground are very well kept and mature with many large, beautiful trees surrounding the cottage.
