Please refer to the Rates section for our minimum nights' stay during various times of the year. We cannot accommodate shorter than the minimum nights' posted on this listing. Also, when inquiring with ONE pet only, please indicate the breed and age of the animal. Welcome to Kosecki Kabana (+ Kabin, seasonally only, please read description for more info at the very bottom for more bunkie info). It is a 2 bedroom (3 beds), 1 bath main house, WITH SEASONAL BUNKIE (2 additional queen beds), but can only be booked from May to October for the full stay, for an extra charge ($150 flat rate for the entire duration of your stay) Our newest venture established in 2021, this beachy vibe one level, 4 season main home will greet you with a nice, open-concept living/ dining/kitchen space complete with gas fireplace (available seasonally in colder months only) and a wall mounted, ductless AC/heating unit. The dining table seats 6 comfortably with 2 extra seats at the breakfast bar. Our retro teal small appliances tie in with the theme of this cottage - beach town, chill vibes.
Our big screen, smart TV (55"), is equipped with a dvd player and retro dvd's, Netflix and chill, or bring your fire stick and connect to the FIBRE high speed internet. That's right, not DSL, not Satellite. but the fastest outside of Starlink internet you can find.
Our double paned windows keep the noise outside where it belongs, but in just a few steps through the sliding glass door, you'll be on the front deck watching the old skool cars, oversized boats (Pottahawk anyone?) and many local cyclists go up and down the main drag. Here you'll find a 4 person seating area, a hammock and a rocker bench.
In the backyard, you'll find another large size deck with 2 seating areas, a hammock, a tiki bar, a covered area and bbq. In the yard is our fire pit and hot tub (SEASONALLY available only in the colder months approx mid Oct to mid May). There is an outdoor shower by the main side door where the water does not get added to our holding tank, and we ask that you use this anytime coming back from the beach before entering the house (mandatory) and/or showering before using the hot tub if the weather allows, over the indoor shower.
Our stamped concrete driveway easily holds 4 cars, but if you swing open the gate, it can hold 5 (or a boat, seadoo, etc), but keep in mind that the backyard will not be fenced in with the gate open and the leash-on rule for any pet will apply. (See below)
The backyard is fully fenced and we are pet friendly to ONE dog, over 2 years old and must be well socialized and trained/non-digger of yards. As we have recently been advised of allergies in our family, and the use of the cottage by us regularly, you must include the age and breed of your dog at the time of inquiry, as restrictions now apply. Animals are never to be off-leash when outside of the fenced in area or left unattended in/outside at any time.
2 well appointed bedrooms will be found inside the main cottage. The first, behind a barn style sliding door, a queen sized bed (sleeps 2 max) , dresser, 2 end tables, California blinds and a ceiling fan. The second, with bunk beds (1 double bed on the lower bunk and 1 single bed on top - max weight for upper bunk is 125 lbs) with stairs - not a ladder. A dresser, floor lamp, California blinds, bench and ceiling fan, complete the room. All mattresses and pillows have hypoallergenic covers on them. Sheets and/or blankets are not provided due to the limited space in the holding tank for laundry services and the rising number of allergies to pets and detergents. Please refer to this description area for the sizes of beds, as sleeping on the protectors only, is strictly forbidden and will be reported.
The bathroom contains a full sized shower, and a large vanity with mirror and storage. We provide towels for showering to be used on our property only. Unfortunately, the washer and dryer are not available for stays under 2 weeks, given we are on a holding tank system. Please mind your water going down the drains and try to follow the "if it's yellow, let it mellow" method, if possible. There is a stick that rises when the tank needs to be pumped. We ask our guests to let us know when it starts to rise (it is very obvious when it does) to arrange a pump out in a timely manner.
The well-stocked kitchen has a drip coffee maker with built in filter, a toaster, kettle, all dish/glass/cookware and utensils including some basic spices and oil. A microwave, full sized fridge/freezer combo, dishwasher, double sink and oven/cook top are also provided. A tea towel and j-cloth or sponge will also be provided.
Again, some items that are not provided due to holding tank space and cleaning limitations are linens, blankets, and beach towels. Also, paper towels and toilet paper will not be provided but we have a take what you need and leave what you take theory, so there may be some from previous guests. We do provide some propane, but we ask our guests to not abuse it and never leave any tank unattended.
Our cleaning fee includes all regular cleaning, as well as, lawn and hot tub maintenance, snow removal and leaf collection for your comfort which is all subcontracted out.
*** In addition to the main house, there is a bunkie ($) with two queen murphy beds, electricity, dressers, a tv and a rug. There is a portable AC unit but is not centrally heated (gas fireplace only). It has a sliding door with a screen and a window with a screen for some cross ventilation. It is available only between May and October (subject to close earlier based on weather - owner takes no responsibility for the temperature in the bunkie at any time). The Owners will not be held for adverse weather conditions during this time and Renters will not be refunded for weather/temperature conditions outside of their control that may cause any uncomfortable sleeping conditions.***
This property has a security camera doorbell. It will only be checked if total number of guests has been been /suspected reported to be higher than the reserved count.

| What a perfect spot for us. Fantastic location, fantastic hosts and loved that they only charged based on number of guests vs the entire property (for couples this is great for budget travellers). A huge bonus was that the hot tub was already up and running, even though I think I read that it wouldn't be opened until mid October, so again, thanks! The inside is well laid out, the kitchen has the cutest retro appliances and the outdoor shower is perfect so as to not drag in tons of sand from the beach. The enclosed backyard was perfect for our pup. There is a bunkie on site but we didn't need it. We did peek in and it looks super cute tho. The big screen tv was perfect for unwinding in the evenings, along with faster internet than we have at home. I had to jump on a last minute work video and there weren't any interruptions in service. We cannot wait to come back again. The town is so lovely and the winery 5 mins drive away has some of the best views and service we have ever experienced. What a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary. Thanks again Dan and Miranda!

| My wife and I had another wonderful August week stay at Kosecki Kabana. The location is great with a very short walk to the beach entrances, and close to restaurants. The property is nice & clean, has a great backyard and front porch for hanging outside and watching the stars. The hosts are very communicative. Hope to be back again!

| Every aspect of our stay was enjoyable. From the booking and subsequent interactions with Daniel to the cottage itself which presented itself in a clean and tidy manner, we were extremely happy to have chosen Kosecki Kabana and will not hesitate to do so in the future. The backyard was a great place for the four teenage boys to hang out, both in the bunkie and around the fire at night. The location is terrific with a 2-3 minute walk to both the beach and the grocery store. We were able to navigate the inside of the main cottage like veterans. I would recommend this cottage to friends and family.

| We had a fantastic stay here at Kosecki kabana. The hosts were very receptive, the space was CLEAN. Everything was in good worker order and the bunkie was open and bright, not like some dingy, dark spider-filled ones I've seen. The space is well appointed with enough seating indoor and outdoor for our group. The location is amazing. We will definitely be back.

| The cottage was absolutely beautiful, extremely clean and funky with it's upgrades in the kitchen. Every aspect of our stay was delightful, from communication with the owner, Daniel, booking and checking in was seamless. The backyard came to life in the evening with Magickal properties, as the outdoor lights and set up enhanced the Majestic beauty of this cottage and all it has to offer. Literally a 2-3 minute walk to the Beach, is extremely accurate and a pleasant trip in either direction. We were amazed and greatly appreciated how quiet this cottage and area was, plus how friendly everyone that we encounter were (neighbors, locals). Looking forward to returning again!
