See every star at night from indoors or out. Enjoy the firepit right by the lake. Listen to the loons, watch otters playfully stop by on the dock, and keep your eyes out on the water for other wildlife, like moose. Our cottage is surrounded by hundreds of acres of crown land. It doesn't get any better than this!
Four bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a spectacular sun porch overlook Trout lake. The Sun porch includes a bar, and a nice space to enjoy the Lakeview and breeze. An extended deck with alfresco dining area overlooks the lake and long shallow shore line with clear water and packed sand. Truly the ideal destination for families with kids! Fish off the dock or take the paddle boat out for a spin, go for a swim, or stay on shore and read a book while feeling that lake breeze. The choice is yours!

| Our family (5 adults, 3 children) enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage. We loved everything about it. The cottage itself had all the amenities we needed for our stay. We loved the sun room where we could sit and enjoy the view of the lake any time of day. The grounds were beautiful, surrounded by crown land, we enjoyed the drive to the cottage and evening walks. We loved the set up outdoors. The shallow beach entry was perfect for children, my children also enjoyed cannon-balling off the dock and we kayaked and canoed as well. The lake is quiet, peaceful and we enjoyed the sunsets. Natalie and Christine were amazing hosts and were quick to respond to any questions we had. We miss this little haven and will definitely be back in the future.

| This a beautiful place that has just what you need! The grounds are colourful, well maintained with loads of places to lounge and enjoy the "sandy beach", warm waters and peaceful view. Each year our family (6 adults- 2 children- 2 dogs) travels from their respective homes and meet at a cottage to reconnect. Trout lake had just what we needed. The attention to details is amazing and the hosts were responsive and attentive throughout the entire process (booking, staying ,leaving) . The cottage was pretty easy to find with ATV trails close by. The kitchen, games, bar and "wee office" gave us time to play, laugh and check the occasional email (only as needed-LOL). Water sports were plentiful with paddle boat, canoe, kayak, toys and a lifejacket for pretty much any size! We would recommend this get away for other families!

| What a wonderful cottage. A perfect cozy, well provisioned getaway with such a perfect sandy beach, lawn and boating/fishing dock. We enjoyed our family reunion so much because of the amenities, especially the screened in porch, gazebo and large kitchen. This cottage is a home away from home with marvelous supportive hosts. | We LOVED our stay here! The place is exactly as described in the ad (actually we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was). Owners were super friendly, accommodating, clear and very easy to communicate with. Beach is nice and sandy, fun for even our dog to chase the minnows around in the shallows! Actually he was wiped by the end of every day from all the running around. Lol. We did a lot of fishing for sunfish and rock bass right off the dock. Also having the canoe, kayak and the paddle boat available to use was a huge plus! We were out on them daily.
The town of Alban is just a 20 minute drive, so fairly convenient for groceries or the LCBO.
