On the deck you will also find a 6 person sectional and six person style dining table with umbrella, both of which are perfect for dining, card games and crafts with the kids.

The lawn gently slopes to the sandy shoreline of the waterfront.


The Lake:

The sandy lake is perfect for children and the gentle entryway is great for small children who want to dig in the sand and splash in the water. For swimming enthusiasts, the lake offers a floating swimming raft. The waterfront quickly gets deeps off the dock which means it is perfect for grabbing a fishing rod, throwing a line and catching dinner! (We talk about the lake a bit further down if you want to skip to the fishing, picnic stuff ;)

Water Sports:

We provide two kayak boards, 1 pedal boat, and 1 non motorized tin boat making it easy for our guests to enjoy the beautiful Four Mile Lake. Explore the area!!



The Separate Guest House:

The property also offers an elevated guest house which has been recently finished from floor to ceiling. The space is insulated and offers a separate living space with a fully functional kitchen area (no stove, fridge only), couch, 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed , 1 bathroom with shower, dining area, and 1 single bed in living area , washing machine.



The Kitchen:

From the deck you enter into the large kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a fridge, electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, and all of the kitchen essentials you will need to to enjoy a comfortable family cooking and dining experience. In the kitchen you will also find the dining table which seats eight and overlooks the deck and water. From the kitchen you enter the main gathering room of the house.


The Living Room:

Featuring vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling tongue and groove pine, wood fireplace and stone mantle, the living room is perfect for family gatherings,on a rainy day.


Master Bedroom & Bathroom:

The main floor offers a full bathroom (sink, toilet, shower).

The master bedroom features one large window which overlooks the deck and water. It offers a comfortable queen size bed, a full size bathroom with tub and shower.


Also on the main floor you will find a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower and three additional bedrooms which in total have 1 queen bed and 2 single beds. The breakdown is as follows:

Bedroom #1: 1 Queen
Bedroom #2: 2 single beds
Bedroom #3: 1 double

The Loft:

The main house also includes a loft area which has 2 double air mattresses

Guest House:

kitchen offers everything minis stove. Living area and dining area. Full bathroom with shower and washing machine. NO dryer or stove in guest house.


The Heating and Cooling Situation:

The cottage has a large number of windows, ceiling fans and oscillating fans in each room which allows for good air movement and air ventilation in the warmer months. The cottage is winterized and also features a wood fireplace which makes the cottage cozy warm in the colder months :)



About Four Mile Lake:

Four Mile Lake is a large 20 km long, spring fed lake that offers world-class fishing including walleye, large & small mouth bass, muskie, perch and panfish.

IMPORTANT WEATHER NOTE: Our snowy weather is unpredictable, and our snow plows ONLY come weekly. A reliable vehicle is recommended. Also our roads are narrow, slippery, and can become dangerous during winter months. PLEASE DRIVE WITH CAUTION AND BE SAFE!


Who We Invite To Request Bookings:

This is a family owned and operated cottage. We welcome families who will treat this cottage as if it were their own. All renters will be vetted and a security deposit will be taken. 50% due upon booking. The remaining 50% is due 14 days prior to check in. -- All payments are non refundable

QUIET ENJOYMENT

Quiet enjoyment of neighbouring properties must be respected. Any disturbances resulting in police action, neighbourhood complaints or any violation of the rules and regulations are considered sufficient cause for immediate termination of your stay with all the monies paid forfeited.

-NO FOOD and NO DRINKS are allowed inside any bedrooms or other rooms except the kitchen area.
Guests found partying, making excessive noise, or breaking house rules and policies will be immediately evicted without a Refund.

SAFETY

The Vacationer agrees to take reasonable safety precautions in the use of the property, including appliances, equipment and the exterior grounds by all guests. The Vacationer agrees to be responsible for their own safety and the safety of their guests.
The Vacationer acknowledges and agrees that the use of the water is not supervised by any lifeguards or other such person, and therefore, any use of the pool and river by the Vacationer and guests is at their own risk. The Vacationer acknowledges being responsible for ensuring that any boating and swimming safety regulations are observed, for having required safety equipment in the watercraft, and for complying with operator competency and licensing requirements life jackets are not supplied by the Owner, and guests must supply their own).
The Vacationer shall not permit anyone to swim nor to operate any boat or watercraft while they are impaired by alcohol or drugs.
It is always the Vacationer's' responsibility to Ensure the safety of themselves and there guests.

INDEMNITY
The Vacationer indemnifies and holds the Owner harmless against all losses, injuries, claims, causes of action, demands and/or costs and expenses, including all legal fees that may arise out of the use of the property by the Vacationer or their guests.
