Welcome to the Lake House - a modern oasis located on the north shore of Kennisis Lake in the picturesque Haliburton Highlands. Enjoy this luxurious waterfront property nestled amongst mature trees and sandy beach with breath taking views of Kennisis Lake. This beautiful cottage features high pine finished ceilings, skylights, a loft bedroom overlooking the living room, maple floors, stone fireplace, private deck from the main floor queen bedroom and a cozy Haliburton room. The space: The Lake House has 3 bedrooms- 2 with Queen beds and one bunk room with 1 full and 2 single beds. Two bedrooms are located on the main floor and the master bedroom is located in our loft with its own private 2 piece ensuite. Our Lake House has a beautiful newly renovated spa like 4 piece main floor bathroom that is sure to impress. There is a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. The kitchen at the Lake House is a large beautiful space for your many chefs to prepare fabulous gourmet meals while on vacation. You will find an abundance of counter space with stainless steel appliances. To add to the tranquility , the kitchen fills with beautiful natural light from the wrap around windows and skylights. The kitchen leads to a wonderful lakeside deck for dining and relaxing. Or, you may wish to retreat off the side door to the quiet Haliburton room. Relax on the large deck off the cottage overlooking the property and take in the view of the lake while grilling on the bbq!!When you are ready to go the waters edge, take the gentle path which leads to the large deck, dock and beach area.

The Lake House is a short 10 minute drive to the Haliburton Forest and Wild Life Reserve featuring the wolf centre, mountain biking trails, hiking trails, treetop trekking and the Truss Works Restaurant and convenience store. The Kennisis Lake Marina is a happening place with an outdoor patio and great food from Smoke on the Water Restaurant, ice cream, drinks and live music.
Boat launch and watercraft rentals are available at the Marina.
Groceries and LCBO are located a short 20 minute drive from the cottage in the Town of West Guilford. The Town of Haliburton offers additional shopping and dinning experiences and is located 35 minutes from the cottage.

| We loved this cottaqe. It was stunning inside and out, the views are amazing! The lake was gorgeous and we all enjoyed the shallow entry, including our dogs. The kitchen was well equipped, the drink fridge is a great idea. We used the wood burning fireplace a couple of nights when it was raining and cool outside. We appreciated the satellite TV and the WIFI. The owners were very accomodating and responsive. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing vacation. Thanks again Kathy & Kevin for your hospitality!

| We had a wonderful time at The Lake House! Host Kathy was very responsive and the cottage was clean, with every possible amenity. Our toddler loved the sand beach access and the gated deck was a bonus for the dogs! Lake views were fantastic!

| We had a wonderful week long stay at The Lake House - the waterfront is gorgeous and the cottage is lovely. The 2 bedrooms + 1 open loft bedroom and beautifully renovated main bath accommodated our 6-person multi-generational family very well. The cottage has everything you need with a detailed welcome book to answer all your questions. The new deck extends across the entire front of the cottage - bbq, dining table/chairs, lounge chairs, couch - outdoor living at its best!
The SE view of Kennisis is great, water off the dock is deep and very clean; the small sandy beach is a perfect entry point for young and old! The granite rocks are gorgeous and lakeside fire pit is perfect. It was quiet, private and most importantly, the hosts Kathy and Kevin were extremely welcoming and accommodating!
The Lake House is a true Haliburton gem!!

| We cannot say enough about our stay at Kennesis Lake Escapes. This is the perfect cottage for any family.
The cottage itself was beautiful. Everything was so clean and all the amenities were up to date and working. Any information or instructions you needed were found in a binder on the kitchen counter. We were greeted with a lovely welcome package!
The property was something out of a movie. The back deck and waterfront were stunning. We have never stayed at a cottage that had its own well-groomed beach. The beach area had a gradual walk in area. The dock was amazing. The water was very clear and there was not one weed or under water vegetation to be seen. The dock is 12 feet deep so our daughter could safely jump or dive at all times.
There was a fantastic selection of water toys to use. There was a paddle board, kayak and canoe available right at the beach. Once again everything was in great working order.
The location could not be in a better place. The road leading into the cottage was in fantastic shape. There was a general store with an LCBO and a cottage life store located 20 minutes away. Other than gas there was everything you needed at these locations.
This was by far the nicest cottage we have stayed at while on vacation. The owners were fantastic at getting back to us while we were booking and when we had a question.
We will always have fond memories of our stay with Kennesis Lake Escapes.

| We felt the cottage was well equipped, perfect decor for a clean, cottage feel. The large deck was so great for eating our meals and lounging and perfect for if we needed the dog to be kept outside in a nice safe space. The Muskoka room was a lovely spot to sit and the kitchen and living room had a wonderful atmosphere where we gathered as a family. The outdoor area we felt was the absolute best!!! Campfire in a perfect location and the little beach and the dock are very suitable for children. In our opinion you have done a super job with your cottage Kathy and Kevin at Kennislakescapes, and we would definitely recommend it.
