Eddie's Lakehouse is a gorgeous, renovated, 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom cottage in the Kawarthas that has the perfect "cottage getaway" feel while having all of your modern conveniences of home. The Lakehouse also includes a 2 Bedroom Bunkie that can sleep 2 additional guests during the Summer months. (8 Guests total October - May) (10 Guests total June - September). Enjoy your weekend or weekly getaway with gorgeous sunsets of Chemong Lake. Great fishing, kayaking, winter skating, long walks and more. Relax and rejuvenate or choose to work remotely and enjoy superb wi-fi with a quick 8 minute commute to Peterborough for your "city" fix. You can also stay by the fire and have Ubereats come to your door! Small, quaint towns like Lakeview & Bridgenorth are also only 10 minutes away. Our Cottage is a preferred, family friendly, smoke free cottage, weekly Summer bookings Friday - Friday. Ideally 6-8 guests will be best suited for this Lakehouse with 2 more guests in the Bunkie. We have also done 3 and 4 night stays during our Summer months if you prefer a smaller vacation. During late Fall/ Winter, our bunkie stays closed. Therefore we prefer to cap the cottage to max 6 adults, 2 kids and a pet (more or less).
We have decided to reduce our prices for groups of six or less and charge an additional fee for those with extra guests. We are doing this to support those who are a smaller group/family who can treat the Lakehouse with respect and care.
**Linen is NOT included with the exception of a couples getaway trip in which case linen will be provided for the King Bed**
*** Please note Kawartha Waters can be somewhat weedy depending on the time of year. We do hire a company that clears the weeds once a year (after spawning) but please keep that in mind when booking. Most guests do not use our cottage for swimming, but the Lakehouse includes a 16x8 water pad which is used quite a bit. ***

| I would highly recommend the lake house! The cottage is very clean, and beautifully renovated. The fire pit area is so cozy and the perfect place to hangout all night. Kitchen is so beautiful and has everything you need to cook. Bedrooms are very comfortable and perfect for families with kids.

| What a great stay! We had a fantastic weekend at Eddie's Lakehouse, even with the very cold winter weather. The cottage itself was very clean, renovated, and exactly as pictured. Modern yet very warm and inviting. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and perfect for our family needs. Washrooms were beautiful. The property sits lakeside with beautiful views overlooking Lake Chemong. We did not sit out at the firepit but it looked inviting. Cottage was only 15 minutes into Peterborough. Our contact /host was fantastic- responsive, helped us with any questions or needs, and even sent someone by during our stay to clear the stairs and driveway. 5 stars!

| Eddie's Lakehouse was a true gem of a getaway! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the lake and the serene surroundings. The cottage itself was not only charming but also exceptionally clean and well-equipped.
The owner, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. His responsiveness to our questions and requests was impressive, and his warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home.
We spent our days lounging near the lake, taking in the picturesque scenery, and enjoying the firepit.
This trip to Eddie's Lakehouse was an absolute highlight of our year, and we're already planning our return. If you're looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating, and fun lakeside escape with fantastic hospitality, don't hesitate to book a stay at Eddie's Lakehouse :)

| What an amazing cottage to have our annual guys trip.....great amenities, great cottage, great location, and most importantly great host!
The cottage had it all.....
1. modern kitchen and bathrooms
2. enough space for 7 adults
3. amazing lakefront
4. lots of water crafts for everyone to be on the lake at the same time
5. very close to peterborough groceries, canadian tire, etc in case you forgot anything or want to travel light and do the groceries once at the cottage
I can't say enough good things about our host who was very prompt and accommodating to reasonable requests.
All appliances, plumbing, bathrooms, electricity, etc was in excellent working order and there weren't any issues with comfort at all. highly recommend and would love to visit again.
