| The views are truly breathtaking. We enjoyed the hot out door showers, morning dock coffee with the mesmerizing sun rises, floating on the water, canoeing, kayaking, kids enjoyed the paddleboards, shallow entry clean waterfront, pirate lookout, zipline was super hit. The lake is a great size for boating around with amazing different variety of birds and trees. We did try tubing around the gull river which was exciting and relaxing. The cottage has cozy beds, appliances that are well maintained and work efficiently. The board games were great and star gazing was amazing to end the day . Thanks Gen for providing us with all the attractions and restaurants. The cottage is 9 minutes away from groceries and Kawartha diary. We made great memories at your cottage and enjoyed every moment of our 7 night stay, will definitely recommend and return in future.

| We rented this cottage for 2 weeks in August. The cottage was just what we were looking for for five adults (two being teenagers). The cottage was cozy, clean and well taken care of. The access to the lovely little beach was ideal as there were few steps to the water for one elderly rentee. Overall, we highly recommend this cottage. The only criticism would be little things like a toaster that was awkward to use. The cottage should have been supplied with adequate bottled water for the two week stay.

Owner response: Thanks for sharing your experience at our cottage. Glad to hear that it was what you were looking for. Sorry to hear about the toaster, we have replaced it with a new toaster now. The water is tested and safe to drink , we suggest guests to bring their own drinking water if they have allergies and stomach sensitiveness. I wish you would have communicated it to us while your stay, when I was checking in to see if you needed anything. Cheers Gen | |

| We have rented this cottage twice and can say it is a wonderful place. Last year our grandson was only a few weeks old so he didn't get to experience the water but this year he absolutely loved the water and cottage. We love sitting on the dock, floating on the toys, and enjoyed the canoes and kayaks. 5/5 Highly recommended.

| We had a great relaxing and adventurous vacation at Gen's Cozy cottage. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and clean. All the appliances worked efficiently. Beds are very comfortable and the washroom stall was big and tidy. WIFI worked very well. Lots of books to read and board games for the kids to keep them busy. The deck was great with the glass railings. The lakefront is fantastic with breath taking views of the lake. The sunrises were amazing!!! No words to describe them. The shallow entry to the lake is clean. The water toys were very clean and worked well. We canoed and kayaked around the Horse shoe lake and admired and explored different variety of birds. Relaxed on the inflatables. We enjoyed fishing in the fishing boat they provided. Enjoyed playing badminton and ring toss after a along time on the large levelled lawn facing the lake. Zipline and pirate lookout was a hit for the kids. Groceries and restaurants were 10 minutes away from the cottage which was great. Star gazing and views of the moon were mesmerizing!!!
Gen was extremely quick with replying to our emails and answering all of the questions we had regarding the cottage and our stay. She provided us with all the amenities and great restaurants in the area. We couldn't imagine a better vacation and still we got even more! We made great memories and enjoyed every moment of our stay. We will revisit and would highly recommend this cottage to friends and family to visit.
