This is the perfect summer vacation getaway for your family & friends. Located only 1.5 hours from the GTA & 1hr from Durham region! Sturgeon Lake is part of the Kawartha Lakes & Trent-Severn Waterway connected to both Cameron & Pigeon Lakes. Located 15min from Lindsay & 20min from Bobcaygeon known as the "Hub of the Kawartha's" and famous for shoe shopping at Bigley's. The cottage boasts beautiful lake views, spectacular sunsets and is well maintained, clean & cozy. All 3 bedrooms are equipped with dressers/ closets and pillow-top luxury cushions, firm mattresses, including queen over queen bunk-beds for sleeping arrangements.
We offer unlimited WiFi and cable which you can enjoy on our 75" Samsung Smart TV. The living room is open concept where you can enjoy electric fireplace, cook on our stainless steel appliances and still enjoy your guests around the 3x8 quartz island and hydraulic adjustment bar stools. Off the living room is another full bath with heated floors.
The master bedroom has king size bed and full bathroom with heated floors and 55" Samsung smart TV. Both washroom floors are heated.
Laundry is available if required at additional cost.
Enjoy our wrap around deck 12x16 sun shelter gazebo with curtains/fan at the back of lakehouse. The area is complete with BBQ and fire pit.
**newly added: Bunkie in backyard with its on private deck. Sleeps 4 with 2 sets of single bunk beds. Electricity & cold air included but no water / washroom.
At the dock by the water, we have 70 feet of semi-private waterfront with spacious deck area for you to sunbath, fish (rods on site ) swim, enjoy outdoor non-motorized water sports/activities (all included), watch the game, bbq, or just have some cocktails.
You can relax under the other gazebo on our comfy patio couch / tanning lounge chair furniture.
There is also a cabaña by the dock equipped with hydro, full sized fridge, 75" tv with cable, wireless bluetooth surround sound, stand up paddle boards, boogie boards, kids & adult kayaks, family pedal boiat, floaties, noodles, life jackets (all sizes for lots of ages), donuts, beach balloons, water guns , etc ...
The FULL SERVICE marina is just a short walk away with a boat launch, general store, picnic area, bbq area, drive up fuel station , restaurant , apparel & tackle/fishing equipment.
Located walking distance is also a children's park with swings / slide etc. Small kids play set with swings and slide is also conveniently located in the backyard. Also nearby is Bobcaygeon beach & kawartha dairy for the kids!
There is also a massive water trampoline with water slide that even the adults like to enjoy. Alongside a lilypad for more outdoor water fun!
The cabana has a small private changing area located inside as well as an outdoor private wash station to rinse off.
Both lakehouse (front/backyard) as well as waterfront area by cabana/gazebo, bar side are all very well lit with Bluetooth surround sound.
The exterior of this lakehouse is also sprayed for bugs! So enjoy relaxing longer outside by the waterfront & on property without worrying or being bothered about being bit by insects! This really makes things so much more enjoyable.
This cottage is steps away from the trails.. excellent for 4x4, atv & side by sides.
Must be at least 30 years old to rent with valid photo ID.
