Booking - Straight forward, upfront questions answered and any concerns addressed.

Accommodation - (Cottage), Spacious, clean, stocked with 'extras', flashlights, fans, books, literally felt like a home.

Outside - Beautiful view, well kept backyard, lots of room for parking, lots of room for games, separate fire pit area with additional outdoor eating space, mini beach on the property, full dock access and available kyak and canoe.

For us, this was the perfect space to have some quality family time. We had fun together, using all the amenities available to us. It is hard to write how beautiful the area the cottage is set on and only wish whoever is reading this could feel what we have in our memories. To put it plainly, we will not even look to book another cottage unless we travel outside of Ontario. There is no need. The way this cottage is set on the beautiful and breathtaking lake is all we could ever need for a get a way. For the price, taking a family of 6 for a week, this can not be matched. In addition, the local beach, 5-10 min away was great to break up the odd day, the kids had a fun time swimming and playing, nipping into town for an ice cream and checking out the cool shops. The local patrons were all friendly and hospitable and it was neat to check out the history associate with Barry's Bay.

Thank you to Kelly and Chris for allowing us to enjoy their property and for being super easy to deal with. We will be back!!

We had a fantastic week at Summerswind and working with Kelly has been a breeze! The scenic drive in was stunning, and the cottage had everything we needed. Shade from trees and a cool lake breeze kept us comfortable. A picturesque beach around the corner. We loved the dock, campfire nights, and relaxing vibes.

My family and I had an amazing stay at Summerswind. The first two days had lots of rain but everyone still had fun indoors with the cozy comfort of the cottage. The kids enjoyed the play area at front. The secluded private area was perfect for our family vacation. Everyone had a blast.

We had a lovely time with our children and grandchildren at the cottage. The cottage provided everything we needed. There was lots of space outside and inside for the 4 grandchildren to play and explore. Even staying inside most of the day when it rained was no problem. Despite the warm weather most of the week, it got never too warm in the cottage thanks to the abundant shade of the trees, and the cool air coming from the lake. No need for AC! The bunkie had enough space and comfort for a couple to stay in, a bit away from the main cottage (although an extra non-switched outlet would have been helpful). The host was very responsive and helpful when we the odd question.
