This cottage was a perfect fit for our family vacation. It is conveniently located close to a great little park and ice cream shop. Lyndhurst Lake is beautiful and quiet and we felt we were at our own private retreat. We made good use of the provided paddleboards, kayaks, small play structure and teeter-totter. The large dock allowed all of us to be together while watching the kids play in the water. And the shed was great for storing all our inflatables at night, plus the granddaughters loved it as their clubhouse. We enjoyed many a campfire at the firepit.
The cottage was spacious and the large dining table was perfect for family meals. The kitchen was well stocked and the 2 fridges came in very handy for storing food and drinks. Having air conditioning was also a plus on those very hot summer days.
Craig was very helpful and answered all our questions promptly and went above and beyond as our host. We highly recommend this cottage, especially to family with kids. As our 5 year old granddaughter said, ?we're going back there, right??

This cottage is absolutely beautiful, we shared as a Family of 9 the space. The character of the home is represented perfectly, the additional spaces made it a fantastic stay for everyone.

We enjoyed the Lake, Kayaks, Paddle Boards and Canoe. Fishing was amazing!

The location has great options for visiting and eating out. We organized a visit to the Berry-homestead Farm to learn about the Farm and get some quality Donkey snuggles.

Local beaches are 6 minutes away so you can safely play in the water with little ones.

Craig was amazing to communicate with, we appreciate the amount of work he has put into this property.

My family and I had a lovely time at the Stewarts Lakehouse! Craig was easy to reach out to and ask questions and always very willing to help ensure that we were well prepared for our stay and have everything we needed. The property was well maintained and it was obvious that they had put in some good time and effort into upgrades. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the amenities were well thought of. We consider ourselves keen boaters/anglers and very much enjoyed fishing on lyndhurst lake and going down the river to singleton lake as well. The new dock was an excellent addition this year (2022). My only two recommendations were that the lakehouse would be well upgraded with better outdoor seating (picnic table, gazebo, hammock etc) and it was a bit challenging with a baby (9 months). However, when I asked Craig about baby stuff at the cottage, he agreed with me and stated he was sourcing out a crib and high chair for future guests. He was very receptive to any improvement ideas I had! The neighbour's were lovely and I especially enjoyed the large amount of storage space with having the additional kitchen. One of the bedrooms was fairly hot at night (the single beds room) as it did not have an AC in the window like the other rooms.

Can we say, "best cottage stay ever?" We sure can!! This place is GORGEOUS! and it's sooooo spacious! We loved the view and the glorious fire. Not only were we pleasantly surprised by the vast amount of space within the cottage, we thoroughly enjoyed the land around the cottage and some lovely walks throughout the town. We are VERY excited to come back in the summer to enjoy this cottage again as well as the beautiful lake, boats and boards! Thank you to the Stewart's for letting us share in the joy of this awesome lakehouse!
