Welcome to our waterfront cottage on Lower Buckhorn Lake. Our cottage is located less then 2 hours away from Toronto and is perfect for couples and families. Have a relaxing evening on the lake and enjoy a campfire with picturesque views of the lake and small islands all around.
The cottage includes a large open concept living space with large windows with a great view of the lake. There are 3 beautiful bedrooms plus bunk house that sleeps a total of 8 people. The oversized back deck overlooking the water is a great escape for your morning coffee or family dinner time in the evening when the sun is setting.
Built on the Canadian shield the yard is landscaped around the beautiful rock. The backyard boasts a large bonfire and huge dock. Power is available near the dock which is great to power your music device or provide electricity for your boat.
The cottage is open concept with beautiful wood slab counters stone detail with under counter lighting and large walls of windows that afford spectacular views of the water. Patio doors off the master that overlook the lake and second full bedroom. Fully updated! Oversized deck with dining area and BBQ for relaxing dinners overlooking the lake. Choose to dine inside or out. Spend your day at the waterfront swimming and fishing, then end your day under the stars at the fire pit.

The land is flat around the cottage, with a slight slope to the water where it levels off. Fire pit is located on the lower lawn near overlooking the water.

The cottage sits on the shore of one of the best boating and fishing spots in the Kawarthas. The lake is filled with Pickerel, Small and Largemouth Bass, Muskie (great in the fall!), Perch, Crappie and Panfish. Just 5 minutes down the road in the heart of Buckhorn, Ontario, you'll fulfill all of your needs during your stay as you will find a grocery store, convenience stores, LCBO, drug store, hardware store, a few dining options and many bait & tackle shops.
Located on Lower Buckhorn Lake. Part of the Trent Severn Waterway which is a 386-kilometre-long canal route (240 miles) connecting Lake Ontario at Trenton to Georgian Bay, Lake Huron, at Port Severn. Its major natural waterways include the Trent River, Otonabee River, Kawartha Lakes, Lake Simcoe, Lake Couchiching and Severn River. Its scenic, meandering route has been called "one of the finest interconnected systems of navigation in the world".
