Big Red is a charming cottage located on lower Paudash Lake that has too many amenities to list! This deluxe property is finished and decorated from top to bottom with pine walls, porcelain tile floors, beautiful solid hand scraped oak floors, granite countertops, newly renovated upper marble bathroom, new light fixtures, cathedral ceilings and the list goes on! Outdoors, a multi-tiered deck overlooks majestic Paudash Lake with south-western exposure. A large dock located down mulched steps to the lake is fitted with muskoka chairs, two kayaks and one canoe. There are steps into the lake with a gradual sandy entry that is perfect for young children and great for swimming. The half circular interlocking driveway makes parking a breeze and there is additional parking along the garage for boat trailers or vehicles. Main Level: On the main level there is a 2PC bathroom with granite counter tops, a main floor bedroom with a queen sized bed, night stand and dresser, cathedral ceilings in the living room area with an HD TV and Bell HD satellite TV service with an HD DVD player and many DVD's to choose from. There is a large stone gas fireplace in the living room. INTERNET is included in the rental. There is an island with 6 chairs that is great for playing games or used as a secondary dining area. The open concept kitchen/ dining room has ample cabinet storage, new stainless steel appliances with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, stove and a separate wine/beverage cooler in a dry bar. There is an island with four chairs and an adjacent dining room with a table and seating for 8. The kitchen comes fully equipped with dishware, glassware, cookware and serving plates/bowls.
Upper Level:
The upper level is accessed by beautiful custom log treads (please note there is not a full length hand rail) to three upper bedrooms and one bathroom. The master bedroom contains a closet with gorgeous furniture, a queen sized bed, and a smart TV. Adjacent is a marble bathroom with a stand up shower, Grohe fixtures, and a double vanity with quartz countertops. The brand new LG washer/dryer is located in a closet adjacent to the bathroom. There are two other bedrooms, one with a queen bed with stunning views of the lake through large expansive windows and the other with 2 double beds and a private covered patio with 2 chairs and a table. Two of these bedrooms do not have closets, but there is a large corridor closet with interior hanging space and an iron/ironing board.
Lower Level:
The lower level contains a walk out basement with a recreational room, dry bar with a beer fridge and two bedrooms. A large bedroom with a queen sized bed contains an armoire and night stand table (please note there is no window in this room). A quaint single/single bunk bed room is perfect for children and in close proximity to the bathroom. There is a large 3PC bathroom with a stand up shower and vanity with granite countertops and lots of hooks to hang towels. The recreational room contains an HD 48" LCD television with an HD DVD player and large sectional leather couch. There is also a pool table for some extra fun!
Extras:
A Bunkie with a queen bed and a single/double bunk bed has it's own private deck that is in close proximity to the lake. This can sleep up to four guests and is available at $350.00 for a 3 night rental or $600.00 weekly plus HST. For groups over 12 the Bunkie must be rented (up to 15 people max for Big Red and the Bunkie, upon approval). The Bunkie is not available in the late Fall, Winter, and early Spring (up to May 1).
Outdoors:
Big Red has a great fire pit with built-in seating and the main dock has many Adirondack chairs for use. There are two kayaks, one canoe and 6 life jackets for use by the lake. The dock can accommodate a large motorized boat and there is a separate smaller dock for a sea doo or small fishing boat. The cottage has a large gated upper deck with two outdoor dining furniture sets to seat 12 and a BBQ with a propane feed (no tank). On the lower deck of the cottage there are additional chairs and tables and a hot tub overlooking the lake that can seat 4 adults.
Great fishing, over 13 miles of boating on a stunning spring fed lake with large & small mouth Bass, Perch, and Lake Trout.
Hiking - Silent Lake Prov Park 5 km. Paudash Lake Marine (boat rentals available) on the lake. LCBO, grocery, laundry-mat & convenience store nearby. Great restaurants in Bancroft about 10 minutes away.

| Gem of a cottage
Every year, we plan a cottage getaway to relax and decompress. We love hanging by the lake, renting boats and fishing. This was our first visit to Big red cottage, and it exceeded our expectations above and beyond any other cottage we've rented in over the past 15 + years. It had everything! It is extremely well-maintained and clean, with beautiful décor and furniture giving it a gorgeous classic rustic atmosphere.
The bedrooms were very comfortable for a great night's sleep! The upstairs washroom with double vanity and spacious shower was amazing! Centralized Heat/AC are a fantastic add-on which made our stay very comfortable. The lower floor recreation room provided an entertainment system, a pool table and bar that kept us fully enjoying our time as we waited for the rainy weather to subside.
And then there's the kitchen... we LOVED it! So modern and fully appointed! It had everything even the most demanding cook could ask for to prepare meals and conveniently clean up afterwards.
The deck facing the lake was simply breathtaking and massive. Must have been 40 feet across, and let's not forget the two deck levels below ? an incredible extension closer to the lake and a well-maintained Jacuzzi that fits four adults comfortably!
Paul is such a great guy and is very organized and professional! He provided us with a very detailed overview of everything and was available for us with any questions we had.

| We are a family of 11 ranging from 3 years old to 86. I was hoping this cottage would accommodate all ages, and it did. Paul was so great to deal with, and the cottage is as advertised. Super clean, well appointed, and nothing was overlooked. Comfy beds, lots of places for the family of this size to hang out, gather and space to be on their own. We especially were impressed with the dock and lake. The 3 an 5 year old loved jumping from the dock and playing in the sandy area. We caught bass right off the dock. The water is clear and clean and we loved using the equipment provided. We had a great family reunion in a cottage that was cozy and comfy. We brought our fishing boat, and easy to dock here. Thank you Paul, and the staff who clean. Lovely Cottage. One caution for the elderly, a bit rugged to get to the dock, but we had lots of arms to help, and she loved being down there to watch the activities all day long on the water.

| AMAZING LAKE AND GREAT VIEWS!!!!
What can I say but that these are the best views and the most beautiful lake we have ever been to in the last 5 years of renting cottages.
The sunset and sunrise where spectacular! Watching them over the dock and deck was picturesque!
The water was so clear! We could see the bottom! We loved jumping off the dock! There was also a shallow entry for the grandmas! There was also a sandbar in the middle of the lake. If you bring a boat then you can access it. It was so much to play water games there! And what about the kayaks and canoe! One of the kids favourites! There were plenty of life jackets! Fishing off the dock was great! The kids and adults loved it!
We were a family of 9 and there was so much room in the cottage for everyone! The kids enjoyed the pool table and watching movies at night after a day of swimming!
The kitchen was huge! There are 2 islands and 1 dining room! The beds were comfortable! The master had a tv in the room! There were three decks and a beautiful dock!!! The main upper level deck was enclosed with clear glass which made it safe for the kids! The patio tables could accommodate 10 people plus! Enough room for everyone to have a relaxing dinner! There were enough chairs on every level to lounge in!
We were in the hot tub every day!
The communication with Paul was easy and the response was quick! He answered all our questions!
It is one of our favourite cottages and our favourite lake!!

| Fantastic property for a multi-generational family vacation. Cottage had high end finishes and all the amenities we needed. There was enough space for everyone. Kitchen was well appointed. Swimming from the dock was good. There was a sandy shallow entry or you can jump in off the end of the dock. Weeds were only off to the side and not an issue at all. Paul was excellent at communicating and sent a great welcome package before we arrived so we knew what to bring and what was provided. My family and I had an amazing time and after renting cottages around Ontario together for the past 6 years this was our favourite so far!

| Big Red is well appointed and has all the modern amenities for a comfortable stay. The docks are nearby with easy access via a Sandy entrance to the Lower Paudash Lake. Bancroft is a short 10-15 drive away. Paul is a good host. I Highly recommend renting this cottage.
