Located on Whitestone Lake, a 2.5 hr drive north of Toronto, in Dunchurch just off Hwy 124 and 30 minutes northeast of Parry Sound.
COTTAGE:
The cottage has been FULLY renovated and modernized, including kitchen, bathrooms, and all decks. Glass patio doors and windows allow wonderful views of the lake, beach, dock, sauna, outdoor shower and fire pit.
Living/Kitchen Area:
Large open concept Living Room and Kitchen with full glass wall of patio doors facing the lake views! Beautiful Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring, White Shiplap walls, Large L-shaped leather couch, large dining table/chairs and live edge bench seating with rustic cottage accents.
Kitchen: Large with tons of storage, stainless appliances, dishwasher, Gas stove/oven, large eat up island with 4 stools, fully outfitted with new dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, drip coffee maker, kettle, bakeware, kitchen utensils, many small appliances and everything you need to prepare full meals.

BUNKIE:
Large renovated Bunkie with 2 bedrooms, kitchenette dining area and 2 pc flush Bathroom with running water. Large living area with new leather couch, fireplace, and a large deck with great views of the lake and property. It's a great private spot for families to have two separate living areas, which gives everyone lots of room and privacy.

ABOUT THE LAKE
WHITESONE LAKE is a beautiful, clean, long, large lake (1,725 acres), with over a 40 mile permitter around the lake and an average depth of 45'. Great Lake for skiing, cruising and fishing! It even has a great diving rock with swing rope!
We are located on LOST BAY, which is a large bay off the main part of the lake with just a few cottages and a very large inner bay, to explore with the 2 kayaks provided. Our bay is large enough to ski, swim, kayak and has a free boat launch 3 doors down from our cottage.
OUR WATERFRONT
Our waterfront is over 150', with a sandy walk in beach, which is perfect for little ones. We have 2 large joined docks with an easy step ladder, and lots of space to enjoy the waterfront on the Muskoka chairs on the dock. There is a Pontoon Boat on the dock which we use for a great shady seating area (boat not available for use). There is also room to tie up other boats. There is a free boat launch 3 doors from our cottage. Corn Hole Game and other outdoor games provided in the kids playhouse.
SAUNA
There is a large real wood cedar sauna, just steps from the beach with a change room and storage area. Two kayaks are provided as well as fire pit, cooking accessories, beach toys, noodles etc. Great shady deck on the front of the sauna with great views of the sandy beach, dock and the bay. Bring your own wood.
OUTDOOR SHOWER
Great outdoor, private shower, is located just beside the cottage and sauna and steps to the beach!
FIREPIT
There is a fire pit area with terrific views of the lake and the stars at night! Bring your own wood

Dunchurch is a great place to visit by car (10 min.) or boat, for a bite to eat at the local restaurants, or to go for some infamous Kawartha ice cream stand at the general store!
Dunchurch: Gas & Corner Store, LCBO, Fire and Nursing Station, Community Centre, Community Docks with swimming area, Marina and Boat Gas, Coffee shop at the Marina, Ice Cream Stand, Restaurant in town and close to the Whitestone Lake Recreational Trail.

Enjoy the 30 Thousand Islands Boat Cruise, or Airplane Tours, The Charles Stockey Centre for Performing Arts, The Festival of the Sound that runs for three weeks in July/August, The Bobby Orr Hall of Fame, Farmers and Craft Markets and the historical Sequin Trail and Whitestone Trails are close by the cottage. Fine dining can be experienced at the nearby five-star Log Cabin Restaurant.
