We are ready for you!! This brand new renovated cottage was completed in Fall 2021 and is ready for you to enjoy. Our cottage is very comfortable for your large single family or two couples with a child or two. 7 person maximum. The main floor master bedroom (14' x 8',4") features vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, 1 queen bed, side table, dresser and shelving unit. The second floor loft bedroom (20' x 16') features 2 doubles and a single bed, dressers, night tables, lamps and pot-lights. The eat-in kitchen features vaulted ceiling, electric stove, dishwasher, fridge, ample cupboards and shelf space with under-counter lights and two hanging fixtures from open beam ceiling. Walk out to the BBQ and screened-in porch. This fully functioning kitchen is also equipped with coffee maker, Keurig machine, kettle, microwave, new pots and frying pans, blender, sandwich griller, electric skillet, food storage containers, cleaning supplies, cutlery, dishes/ glasses/mugs.
The 20' x 16' living room features 9' high ceiling with pots and ceiling fan, wood burning stove, brick accent wall, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake.
The storage/washroom 7' x 10' off of the living room features wash sink, vanity, toilet and a shower.
The outside washroom is unlike you may think. Steps from the main door this outhouse features running water, vanity with power receptacles, mirror, lights, vinyl plank floor, shiplap siding and quartz top with toilet seat.
The screened in porch looking over the lake is a great place to enjoy a relaxing evening or your morning coffee.
Enjoy your waterfront deck with glass railings while your children play in the walk-in sandy beach.
Cast your fishing rod off the dock or take the kayaks out for a paddle.
In the evening enjoy your lakefront fire pit for a small intimate fire under the hanging lights or stars as you prefer.
- There is a boat launch at the other (North) end of the lake, at the end of Salmon Trout Lake road.
- There is enough room on the dock to fit large boats 21' or more. Water is 10' deep at the end of the dock
- The water has a gentle slope with packed sand for at least 6' into the water.
- The tap water is from a well, and is drinkable.
- The fire pit is at the shoreline. Must be kept small as the treed area is fairly close. There is a hose and bucket for putting out the camp fire.
- Bring your own linens
- We have 4 kayaks, a pedal boat, 2 stand-up paddle boards, a canoe, a 6'x16' floating lily pad, lifejackets, blow-up floaties and noodles.
- This cottage is a four season, propane heated, cottage. (if you are interested in booking over the winter)

Note: Our cottage is located at the South end of Salmon Trout Lake, just 20 minutes North of the closest town, Bancroft. In Bancroft there are two grocery stores (Foodland, No Frills), a hospital, many restaurants, two Tim Horton's, Banks, unique stores to browse, Beer Store, LCBO.
The closest convenience store is 10 minutes away - Maple Leaf Country Store which has basic grocery item, beer, and some LCBO products.

NOTES Rental period for JUNE/JULY/AUGUST/SEPT is a Saturday to Saturday. Check out at 11am, Check in at 4pm $600 booking deposit due upon booking. If cancellation occurs and we CAN get other renters for your week, you will be refunded, if we CAN'T get new renters the deposit will not be refunded. The remaining amount of $1390 for the weekly rental, AS WELL AS $600 security deposit for a TOTAL of $1990 is due 30 days before arrival. The $600 security deposit will be refunded within two days of checkout. We will send a Rental Contract to be signed.
