| My family really enjoyed this cottage's peaceful and tranquil setting. We hardly saw any neighbours or the host, which allowed us to fully enjoy the privacy, peace, and quiet. We also loved how spacious the property was. The huge dock, large deck, and big lawn gave us plenty of room to relax, hang out, and enjoy our time together. The ample parking on the property was also a big plus, especially for our cars and boat trailer. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and spacious property.

| We had a wonderful time staying at Mike and Mosey's cottage. The cottage was exactly as described on the website—no surprises! It was very clean and well equipped. The cookware was more than sufficient for preparing a decent meal. We baked fish and chips in the toaster oven and even made a delicious stew using the slow cooker. Everything we needed was there, and there was plenty of cutlery for our family of seven. No sweat! We really loved the layout of the cottage. The kids and their friends could enjoy their own space in the loft while we adults relaxed and enjoyed a peaceful evening of stargazing on the deck. We also really appreciated how accommodating and thoughtful Mike and Mosey were as hosts. They were always available and helpful whenever we needed anything, while also giving us the privacy and space to fully enjoy our stay. It was the perfect balance—friendly and welcoming without ever being intrusive. Overall, it was a wonderful and comfortable stay. We would happily come back and highly recommend Mike and Mosey's cottage to others!

| Mike and Mosy maintain a gorgeous property. My daughter and her friends enjoyed the boathouse space while I got peace and quiet in the main cabin. Very close to Buckhorn and its amenities. Yes, the owners live on site, but they are like ghosts! And they are extremely responsive and friendly. Bugs Yes. Weeds in the lake Yes. It is a cottage on Pigeon Lake, guys, of course there are. I caught plenty of little fish off the dock, keeping me entertained. Mike and Mosy took us on a pontoon ride and always made sure the girls were happy. Absolutely perfect hosts and an incredible stay. I'll miss the dock, the sunsets, and Mosy's fresh cucumbers!!!

| We recently stayed at this property and overall had a mixed experience.
One important point for future guests is that the accommodations are more accurately described as bunkies rather than traditional cottages. They are small and provide only the bare necessities. The kitchen was very basic, with no oven, limited counter space, and an inadequate supply of cooking utensils and equipment for meal preparation.
The lake conditions were also challenging during our stay. While this is clearly outside of the owners' control, the waterfront area near the dock was extremely weedy, making it unsuitable for swimming.
The washroom facilities were functional but cramped. The outdoor washrooms had a significant number of bugs, and one of the bathroom did not have any doors, which impacted privacy.
Another consideration is privacy. The owners live on-site and were present around the property daily. There were also cameras visible on the property, which some guests may wish to be aware of in advance.
On the positive side, the owners were very friendly, responsive, and accommodating throughout our stay. They clearly care about the property and were available whenever assistance was needed.
Overall, it was an pleasant stay.

Owner response: Our cottage is for family get away rather than big group of unrelated friends partying. We are sorry that you overlooked all pictures on the listing and also did not understand the email from us describing the setting of our cottage. Weeds are common on lakes. We have 3 aerators to stop weeds coming to our bay. However, weeds still blow in after a big storm. Moreover, when you have your boat in and out so many times a day that the motor carried in more weeds than normal circumstances . We respect guests' privacy and we don't usually see guests only upon guests' request. Cameras are for the security of our own residence. Guests cabins are over 300 ft away from us, there is absolutely no issue for you and your secret party. We are glad that your group had a pleasant stay as per your review. Our advise for you in the future is to find a place that big enough for your group. Always remember, you pay what you get. Enjoy the rest of the summer. | |

| Absolutely a great place to getaway of lovely scenery of wild flowers, bushes, lake, boat dock and clam waters. My wife described it as a paradise to celebrate our anniversary. We spent a couple of evenings just watching the sunset and the water.
Thanks to the two senior owners dedicated work to such an organized landscape and water pier. We appreciate their hard work to provide us such a good place and good time.
The unit is clean and provided with drinking water, clean towels and bed linen as per expectation. We had barbecue two times.
