Beautiful four seasons family cottage just outside of Minden, Ontario and 30 minutes outside of Haliburton. The cottage has a large backyard backing onto the beautiful Gull River. This newly built log cottage (2016) comfortably sleeps 10 people. It features three bedrooms with queen beds, and a fourth bedroom with two bunk beds. There is also a pull-out sofa in the upstairs living room. No need to worry about stormy weather, as we have installed a standby generator to power the entire cottage. The cottage has an open concept kitchen/ living area, with a balcony on the main floor facing the Gull River. The cottage has a spacious rec room in the finished walk-out basement.
The cottage features high-speed internet (15 mbps +, and unlimited Wi-Fi) and satellite HD TV ( Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams works very well)
We are pet friendly and do not charge a cleaning fee. We only ask in return that you take care of the cottage as if it was your own home.
Main Floor:
- Open concept kitchen/living area
- Well equipped kitchen (pots, pans, fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven, microwave, kettle, cutlery, plates/bowls, dishwasher, tea towels, paper towels, supply of cooking oil, sugar and minimal spices), island seating and dining table
- Living room: sofa, sofa bed, love seat, flat screen HD TV (HDMI)
- 3 bedrooms with queen-sized beds
- River-facing balcony (BBQ, outdoor dining furniture)
- 4pc bathroom
Finished Walk-out Basement:
- Bedroom with 2 bunk beds
- 4pc bathroom (we supply your towels and toilet paper)
- Sofa facing HD TV
- Ping pong table (with two sofas facing the table)
- Full high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity in the basement
- Four chairs and dining table (including an office chair for work-from-the-cottage guests)
Outside:
The cottage property has a fire pit and chairs for your enjoyment.
The cottage lies 300 metres from the the Gull River. A 15 minute kayak ride (5 minute motor-boat ride) gets you to gorgeous Gull Lake for all your watersport desires. There is a boat launch two minutes from cottage.
The Gull River is a nice deep river for swimming. Depending on the time of year, there is a gentle current that some, depending on their level of swimming, may find difficult to swim against. There are local swimming areas on local lakes. Gull Lake, for example, is a 25 minute kayak ride from the cottage. We provide three kayaks and a paddle board.

Other notes:
- We are always available via phone call / email. We have local maintenance and cleaning services available. We always appreciate when guests are up front about any issues or damage so that we can work to resolve them.
- Cleaning: We do not charge a cleaning fee but kindly ask you to respect this gesture by keeping the cottage clean
- We are pet friendly, but please be responsible with your pets. We will need to charge for any cleanup fees, repairs etc. caused by your pets
- We ask our guests to bring all of their garbage home
- One week prior to arrival, we will be in contact with "guest access" details via email

| Gorgeous cottage, with very kind homeowners. The cottage is very spacious and well-equipped. It has everything you need and more for a great stay.
The owners were great with communication, timely and detailed, letting us know everything required for using the cottage, as well as bonus information on local activities. Paul was very kind to us as well.
We had a wonderful experience here, and would definitely recommend a stay at this lovely cottage with lovely owners.

| The cottage was clean and cozy.
The room were spacious and there was several board games and pin ping table in the basement.
The group enjoyed Minden and the river just in the backyard of the cottage.
We will definitely be coming back to enjoy this location and we highly recommend it for your gathering.

| We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, cozy, clean, spacious cottage! We had lots of fun playing ping pong and other games downstairs, and having a fire and playing bocce ball outside. We went on a very scenic hike at the Minden Wild Water Preserve - thanks for the recommendation Paul. Thanks again for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage and creating many fun family memories!

| This cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. There was plenty of room indoors and out for all of us. Ping pong was a big hit, and space outside to play too. Nice big fire pit, kayaks and paddle board and plenty of life jackets and inflatables for the water provided. Paul was always responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
