Muskoka Waterfront Retreat is a large modern, technology-enabled retreat nestled on the shores of the Lake of Bays, a short drive away from Huntsville, and right beside Algonquin and Arrowhead Provincial Parks. It artfully combines city convenience with rustic and natural Muskoka living. With a private waterfront beach and acres of open space, you can find your inner peace and tranquility. Whether you choose to stay in one of our eight standalone cabins with their own deck + BBQ or large chalet building (eight individual suites with its own patio / balcony + BBQ), there is something special to be found for everyone.
THE PROPERTY
With 3.5 acres of space and over 200 feet of sandy beach, private waterfront and dock, you can truly connect with nature. There are kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and other equipment for free rental. We offer high speed fibre Internet and also have over 5,000 sqft. of indoor common space for you to enjoy. From a warm dining hall to a cozy lounge area and games room.
Each of our 8 cabins has an occupancy of 2-6 people. They are newly renovated and equipped with a smart lock for self check-in / out, modern appliances, flat screen TV, BBQ, deck, kitchen, and a wood-burning fireplace.
Our 8 suites are located in our chalet building. They are updated and are either studio or 1-bedroom layouts. They are also self check-in / out, feature modern appliances, a balcony or patio with a BBQ and a kitchenette. We also rent out the entire chalet to large groups of up to 32 people, at great rates. THE REGION
Once discovered, never forgotten. There are endless options to partake in: hike and explore in the nearby provincial parks, take a canoe trip along the Oxtongue River on a bright summer day, go boating on Lake of Bays, or go for a round of golf at Deerhurst. Expect to see lots of wildlife in the region. In the wintertime, you can ice fish on the lake, go snowshoeing, or take a snowmobile out for some active fun.
