Closest town from cottage is Bancroft (20min drive) which offers shopping, banking, gas stations, etc. They have great restaurants as well, on those days you don't want to cook. | Had an absolutely wonderful week long stay at this cottage with family. The cottage itself was larger than expected with a lovely view of the lake and the property was very private and peaceful.
The little walk down to the dock/ swimming area was quite nice and having use of the canoe to explore the lake was fantastic. Having Bancroft close by (only a 20 minute drive) was also a bonus.
The owner is excellent for communication and is prompt in replying to questions/ inquiries. Will definitely be considering this place for future Summer vacations.

| Our family had a wonderful time at the cottage this past week. The lake was perfect for swimming and fishing and we enjoyed the peaceful setting.
The amenities were great, and the cottage was well equiped for a week of fun.
The owner was great to deal with and booking was easy and hassle-free. I would definitely reccomend renting this property!

| I stayed at **Lila's Cottage** for 3 days and had a truly peaceful and memorable experience. The cottage is cozy, quiet, and perfectly located right on the waterfront. One of the highlights was the beautiful path leading directly to the water—it felt like a hidden gem. The view was stunning, and we were even treated to frequent visits from hummingbirds, which added such a magical touch to the stay.
All the amenities were exactly as described, and everything we needed was provided. The host was very responsive and made communication easy and stress-free.
If you're looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature, I highly recommend Lila's Cottage. I'd gladly return!
