So you don't have to leave your sofa, deck or yard to watch the famous Huron Sunsets, but you will probably want to get into those magical lake waters soon. You are just a few steps away from the local public beach access. If you feel like exploring, a 25-minute drive along the beautiful Lakeshore Road takes you to the Ipperwash Beach. A 30-minute drive on the same route brings us to Grand Bed with its huge beech, fancy restaurants, ice-cream places, and souvenir shops. However, if you ask us, nothing compares to spending a day on the stunning beaches of the Pinery Provincial Park (a half-an-hour drive). A 25-min drive in the other direction will bring you to Sarnia with its great beaches, parks, dining and shopping. If you feel like exploring even further, we definitely recommend driving the Lakeshore Road all the way up to Goderich, nick-named Ontario's prettiest town (just over an hour), with lots of stop on the way for treats, antiques stores, souvenirs and sightseeing. And of course you can explore farmers markets, horse riding farms, country roads to be cycled on, and much more...

| An amazing place to relax nested in a well-established, safe neighborhood of mostly retired families. The cottage has been thoroughly renovated, is meticulously maintained, kept very clean and has everything that a reasonable guest would expect. A large wooden deck right outside the dining area, as well as the rear of the property provide for magnificent views of the lake. The local beach is a short walk away, and the beautiful sandy Ipperwash beach is a short drive away as well. It's a definite must-go for people who look to relax and change the pace for the better!

| Our family had an amazing time at this cottage with a beautiful view of Lake Huron and unforgettable sunsets. Perfect place for families. The cottage was very clean, and it had everything we needed. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Our initial plan was to make day trips to Grand Bend and the Pinery Provincial Park, but we actually ended up spending most of our time in and around the cottage because it was so relaxing there. We loved having a BBQ on the deck and making s'mores by the fire pit.
The big open concept kitchen was a bonus for us because we were able to enjoy cooking meals together while watching all the beautiful birds outside the window! We would love to go back.

| The house was on a quiet, beautiful street with a small, nice sandy beach just a short walk down the road. The house was very clean & had everything we needed. There were beautiful lake views and sunsets from the entire back of the house. Grand Bend & the Pinery were a short drive away. Great for day trips. Biking. We would definitely revisit !
