Sandhaven is a four-season cottage located on Haliburton's 5 lake chain, on Lake Kashagawigamog, 5 minutes from town by boat or car. Our cottage is very easy to get to with paved roads, a circular driveway with lots of parking, steps from the front door for easy move-in and out. This 2800 sq ft cottage offers views of the lake from every room. The large, open concept kitchen and dining area is fully stocked with everything you could need and a large gas fireplace for cozy dinners. Through the glass doors into the spacious pine room is a cozy spot for your family to relax, play games, read, or watch movies. With lots of seating, a wood burning stove for those chilly nights, and a large SMART TV. Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms each with its own Juliette balcony, that include 1 queen, 3 doubles and a single. We also have a sofa sleeper and air mattresses available. For additional space ask about our newly renovated Bunkie with a queen bed and smart TV, for an additional fee. Two full baths are located upstairs, and a powder room on the main floor. Step out of the sliding glass doors to a 1,400 sq. ft. deck with lots of seating and entertaining space, an 8-person Beachcomber hot tub, a Weber gas grill (home gas connection), and a pellet grill. With 172' of lake front, you can fish and swim off our dock with a gradual-entry sandy beach stocked with a giant floating lily pad, canoe, paddle board, kayaks, rowboat, lifejackets, fishing rods and tons of sand toys for kids to play with. You can also embrace the outdoors and enjoy smores around the firepit, stocked with plenty of seating and plenty of firewood and kindling.
There are lots of activities in the area including 6 golf courses, driving range, hiking trails, biking and ATV trails, Skiing, snowmobiling and so much more.

| The cottage was exactly as described with a variety of toys and water vehicles for the entire family to enjoy - water guns, trucks for the 2 1/2 year old, lily pad, kayaks and canoe for adults and children ...
Inside the cottage, there was great variety in board games, puzzles and more.
During the week, it was very serene. The weekend brought a little more activity and sound however this is normal in such a setting.
Lovely area for the fire pit and the outdoor lighting made the setting both on the stairs, walkway and dock quite magical.
Our hosts were kind enough to provide us with a crib for our youngest member which was very much appreciated. Our questions were answered promptly and we were given all the info. we needed re: the workings of the cottage.
All in all, our family had a wonderful stay during which many memories were created.

| This was our 3rd year vacationing at Sandhaven, and it gets better every time. Everything as advertised. Clean, comfortable bedrooms. Fully functional kitchen allowed us to prep anything from snacks to full course meals for 10. Reliable generator provided immediate backup during power outage due to storm conditions (2023). Safe, shallow water entry, and large, sturdy dock for those cottage cannonballs into deeper water. Boathouse full of kayaks, PFDs, toys, floating mats, a paddle board and more. Large deck with lots of comfortable loungers, a large gas BBQ, and spotless, trouble-free hot tub. Great spot on the narrows with plenty of sun when you want it, and enough shade when you need it. The only caveat I would add : there are a fair number of steps from the deck down to the water. They are large, solid, well-maintained, flagstone/cement construction. Stable, with excellent footing, but may be a bit of a challenge for some.
Overall, our 3-generations could gather comfortably for meals, games, sunning and swimming without feeling cramped, yet there was enough space for privacy if some alone-time was desired.
Last, but not least, the owners have consistently displayed an attitude of professional hospitality, and a welcoming, family-like interest in our satisfaction with, and enjoyment of, Sandhaven Cottage.

| Our family of 6 stayed at Sandhaven for the march break and had a lovely time. The view outside the cottage was beautiful. The cottage is very warm and comfortable, with enough space for a large family (or two!). Everything we needed was available. Everyone enjoyed playing games, doing puzzles, and hanging out in the hot tub. We will definitely return! We imagine summer would be a lot of fun on the lake!

| We all felt like we were I the wrong cottage. Meaning our past experiences were nothing like this one. We were in awe when walking in the front door. The owners have taken very great care of this place and it made our stay fantastic. The rooms were a very nice size for all of our group. The water was very close and easy to get to. The town was not far at all for our needs. We rate this cottage a 10++++++
