4 season cottage that boasts 2000 sq feet of living space all on one level. Located on a mature treed gentle sloping lakefront with beautiful views of Green Lake and amazing sunsets. The lake is part of a 3 lake chain that offers endless opportunities for swimming, fishing, boating, and water sports. Situated on a private lot with only neighbours to the right, and yet minutes away from local amenities.
Winter and spring: discounts 3 + nights
Summer: Sunday to Friday, Sunday to Saturday, or Sunday to Sunday options available
INDOOR SPACE:
You'll love spending time in the expansive living room, featuring cathedral ceilings, skylights, and a welcoming fireplace. Furnished for comfort, the living room also includes a 65-inch TV with Roku for streaming from your own accounts. Adjacent to the
living area is a game zone with a convertible air hockey and pool table (game table
subject to change). The kitchen and dining space offer ample counter area and abundant seating, all with a picturesque view of the stunning lake. Whether enjoying meals or witnessing
breathtaking sunsets, the unobstructed views are a highlight of the dining experience.
The kitchen is fully equipped, complete with children's dinnerware, a high chair, and
seating for up to 6 guests. The communal areas are situated at the rear of the house, while all bedrooms are located at the front.
The ductless AC unit is located in the living room. While there is no central air conditioning, the system helps cool the entire house by lowering the overall indoor temperature and humidity. During periods of extreme heat, the bedrooms can typically
cool to approximately 20°C at the lowest. Portable fans are also available in all bedrooms for additional comfort. With the cross breeze off the lake, the house is usually much cooler and humidity is
lower, even during extreme heat.
OUTDOOR SPACE:
The backyard boasts breathtaking lake views and is surrounded by mature trees that provide ample shade. Expansive green space at the rear and side of the property offers plenty of room for lawn activities such as spikeball, ring toss, and badminton. With no to the left or directly across, you'll enjoy a sense of privacy. A natural barrier
of trees also creates separation from neighbouring properties on the right.
Our lakefront is ideal for water activities. Guests can easily grab a kayak, canoe, paddle boat, or tin boat to explore not only Green Lake but also the connecting lakes for further exploration and fishing adventures. Anglers will appreciate the peaceful setting, with minimal motor tra?c and abundant catches including smallmouth bass, largemouth
bass, walleye, yellow perch, and muskie.
The shoreline features shallow water extending approximately 500 feet from shore. While the immediate cottage frontage may have more weeds, we have cleared a generous 20-by-40-foot section. About 500 feet out, the lake deepens significantly and is weed-free, providing an excellent spot for swimming and jumping in.
Relax in the 6-person hot tub, perfectly positioned to overlook the serene lake. As the day comes to a close, gather with friends and family in the cozy evenings by the fire pit and seating area, all while enjoying beautiful sunsets.
