NOTICE: Looking for snowmobiling or skiing? Enjoy some winter fun with family/ friends all together!!!
Looking for the perfect place to relax, spend time with family, have a friends get together or just get away....this is for you!!!
When you step inside, you will find a large accommodating living room, 2 full bathrooms, sitting area, screened in portion of porch with the remaining porch open for viewing and listening to nature and of course a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, silverware etc...and stepping into the great outdoors you can bbq., sit by the firepit or go down to the lake where you will find a pedal boat and a canoe and just relax.
We have 2 take out restaurants close by and a gas station and also a place you can rent canoes if you so wish. There is also a boat launch less than 5 kms if you wish to bring your motorboat.
In the winter, there are some public skating arenas close by and also skiing approximately 45 kms to Calabogie.
PS....For more than 6 guests, there is an additional $100.00 /guest for the duration of their stay...(not per night)

| We loved it. The cottage was bigger than we expected. Very modern and beautiful too. We've spent the last few years renting cottages on the kids' summer break and this was our favorite so far.
The amenities were very thoughtful. The kids loved the pedal boat. The beds were all dressed and towels were plentiful - beach, bath, kitchen - everywhere. A little thing but a big thing when you don't have to waste space packing your own. Wifi was reliable (huge deal with 4 teens!). Modern appliances in the kitchen. Shower water pressure was amazing.
Overall, a very enjoyable trip. Would definitely go back!

| This cottage was absolutely amazing. Very spacious and loved the open concept. The host was great and responded quickly to any questions we may have. We did a lot of fishing during our stay and wouldn't hesitate one bit in booking with them again. I have no negative comments about this place. My only advise is that there are a lot of stairs to the water which may be difficult for certain people.

| The cottage is beautiful and spacious.
The waterfront part is true but a lot of work to get to the water due to it being in a steep hill.
Overall, it was a nice cottage but not very clean. Windows and window sills have not been cleaned forever with old dirt and dead insects on the window sills. We don't think the floors are washed often, just vacuumed.
Mice droppings inside the kitchen cabinet and on the living room floor next to the couch.
The bed linen was absolutely immaculate.

Owner response: Yes, but unfortunately as I had already stated, you did arrive unexpectedly an hour after the previous guests so I was in the midst of cleaning. Bathroom, bedrooms and kitchen were done but no time for my usual thorough cleaning which you were ok with at the time instead of me asking you to wait another 2 hours. I've done my apologies, explained the situation and for the record...I am usually a very clean person and yes, it did bother me when I left (but didn't see mice droppings, etc) but that is because I don't like leaving a job unfinished...so print this if you wish .... | |
