| My family and I stayed at this lovely homey cottage for 5 nights 6 days and found it to be the most relaxing tranquil spot on Baptiste Lake. Such gorgeous views of nature and water in your back yard with amenities (kayaks, floating devices and paddle board). My kids were enjoying the frogs by the shore line and beautiful birds (woodpeckers, loons, ducks, and more). 2 fire pits to enjoy under the starlit sky whilst overlooking the lake. Peace and tranquility definitely flow throughout this cottage. Fully furnished with lots of games for inside on rain days aswell. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and a bathroom on each level was very convenient. Property is well maintained cleanliness was as expected. Little home away from home is how I would explain it. Will definitely be visiting again with my family. Owners were very easy to deal with.

| Jogi's Den was a beautiful place to spend a week away with our family. The hosts have been updating the interior and adding both sleeping and bathroom facilities in the basement which allowed for our group of 5 to live and store our things together, but in our own space. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals, and as an added bonus, the tap water was delicious. Water pressure was consistent, and if you need to stay connected, internet access was consistent as well. The location of the cottage on the lake is quiet. The sturdy dock is nestled in a bay that keeps watercraft safe during poor weather. On sunny days, there are ample km's of water to explore at a variety of depths which makes for interesting fishing! There are two routes you can take to get down to the waters edge. One is completely natural and relatively steep, while the other is half natural and half interlocking brick making for a more gradual and controlled trip. Our hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had both before and during our stay. We hope you have the opportunity to enjoy a getaway at Jogi's Den too!

| Had a lovely week, made some amazing family memories!! The main floor of the cottage was very comfortable and has everything you need. The lower level is undergoing some renovations with the addition of a full bath with a beautiful walk-in shower. However the lower level is very damp and not able to use the 3rd bedroom as even the bedding became damp. Water was seeping up through the floor. The outdoor area was nice with a screened in gazebo complete with a dining set which was the perfect location for meals, playing games and reading. I was disappointed to find out after arriving that there is a steep incline to navigate down to the dock and water front. Would be better accessible if there were steps as opposed to a path. This made it very difficult for me to enjoy the water. Water front was very weedy and the sandy beach shown in the photos is pretty much overgrown with weeds. Our group did enjoy the use of the kayak and the paddle board. Upon arrival owners texted us to let us know about an issue with ants however they had failed to provide any traps. We went going into town to purchasing some and were reimbursed by the owners. A welcome bag of sweets, a bottle of maple syrup and a treat even for our dog! Everything was clean and fresh. Kitchen had ample storage for all our food and is well stocked with everything you need. The views are amazing, a very quiet lake with neighbouring cottagers very considerate and respect. A good location for a family vacation!!!

Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to provide your review. We are glad you made amazing family memories and so sorry you experienced less than a perfect stay! The departing guests let us know about the ants downstairs and, being the holiday, the cleaner wasn't able to secure traps. Appreciate you obtaining some on your visit to town - that solved that issue :). We're sorry to hear the downstairs was too damp. Thank you for letting us know about the water seepage from the recent storms. Any visible water has been vacuumed and both dehumidifiers were left on. We're glad you made use of the pullout sofa. The stone paver path to the water is more gradual than the other side and I will add some more pictures. The water level is very high this year and the water is almost to the grass/flowers, resulting in less of a beach. Happy you made use of the water toys and enjoyed the space. Hope you enjoy the rest of the summer and that Doogie gets some more water time! He looked like he was in heaven in the pictures you shared :) | |

| Jock's den was amazing, the view from the property was beautiful as well as the view of the drive to the cottage was beautiful as well! I would not change anything it is beautiful in any season. Our stay was Halloween weekend and we still had so much fun kayaking, going to a scenic walk along the private street and enjoying the beautiful view from the cottage. Not to mention waking up and looking out the window to see the beautiful view of the lake.
The lot is very spacious, easy to park and lots of room. The cottage itself was very spacious and clean and has everything we needed! We fit 8 people comfortably! It is also family friendly with lots of games and a play area for all ages.
I would definitely come here again and will be recommending this place to family and friends! Grocery store, Tim hortons, pizza pizza and many other stores only 20 minute drive from the cottage!

| "Jogi's Den" is a slice of heaven- if only I could find better words to describe this place! We rented this place for the Thanksgiving Weekend with our friends and this was the best Thanksgiving for us.
THE COTTAGE: this is a very spacious cottage with 3 bedrooms and a fully equipped modern kitchen. Very clean and tastefully furnished. The views from the living room , kitchen and bedrooms are gorgeous. Everything we could have needed is available at the cottage and that makes it so much easier!
THE LOCATION: we chose this cottage for our fall vacation and so glad we did. The view and location of this place are heavenly beautiful. The whole driveway was a carpet of orange and red Maple leaves. The cottage is surrounded by large trees and the front view is of the Baptiste Lake. We watched sunrise and moonrise right in front of us and those experiences will stay with us forever. The fall colors are beautiful all around and this place is nestled among some of the most amazing canopies.
The lake is perfect for boating. We launched our 17 ft bow rider from the Baptiste Lake Marina and drove it to the cottage. Fall colors and views on the lake are mesmerizing and we can't wait to come back next year.
THE HOST: what takes this place to another level are the lovely hosts! Both Jacinta and Ralph are very warm and welcoming! Very responsive, very accommodating and the most generous! Thanks for being awesome :)
If I could, I would have given this place 10 stars.
