| A very comfortable and cozy cottage, adequately stocked with everything we needed. We made use of the many thoughtful things, including the camp fire pit, outdoor shower, BBQ, chairs at the beach, TV and awesome veranda with a beautiful view!

| The first of many things that deserve 5 stars about this cottage is the incredible communication with the owner. From start to finish, Lisa was delightful, quick to answer my questions, and help with everything. When we first arrived, it was a cool day and the cottage was cold. The electric fireplace helped immensely upstairs but where the bedrooms are on the lower level remained very, very cold. Lisa emailed me the first night, concerned about the temperature and recommended a heater to use. That helped immensely! We were touched by her concern and care. Morning was my favourite time there as the view from the deck is simply breathtaking, and it's so quiet. The clear, blue water from the vantage point of the deck was nothing short of amazing and I've found myself longing to be back on that deck for days after returning home. The cottage is well laid out and cozy, and the privacy is simply unparalleled! There are several steps to get to the water but it's so worth the walk. We were so relaxed and enjoyed ourselves very, very much and already are making plans to go back. The kitchen may be lacking a few things, like a cheese grater for example, but it's well stocked for the basics, like BBQing. The Queen beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms a good size, though the single beds felt a bit more like crib mattresses so they're good for children no doubt but I wouldn't quite recommend for adults. All in all, a wonderful, peaceful vacation was had and we can't wait to go back!

| Wonderful vacation. Cottage is in a great spot to sit on the porch and enjoy the lake with lots of Adirondack chairs, tables and an umbrella. Short walk down to the lake where you can sit in comfortable chairs in the sun or shade. Nice big tv where we could watch our Netflix etc shows in the evening. Nice BBQ for dinners. Lisa and Jason were great hosts. Very happy we were able to get this cottage to explore the Kincardine area - which is a very nice town to visit.

| Such a terrific experience. AmberHill is a gem. The cottage is light and airy, comfortable furnishings, a great bed for sleeping and everything you need in the kitchen. There is a large, wrap-around deck so that you feel you are almost in the forest. There are lots of trees that offer privacy. And then, there is the spectacular view of Lake Huron. Beautiful sunsets, cool breezes in the evening. The sound of the waves on the shore, and only a short walk down the hill to the beach. Lisa and Jason were wonderful hosts....kind and thoughtful, ready to respond when i had a question and totally respectful of my privacy. I hope i get the chance to return!
