The cottage is situated a 5-minute walk to Turkey Point beach, a sandy and shallow 2km beach that is great for younger children and beach lovers. The location is ideal for bikers and hikers who can avail themselves of the various trails at Turkey Point Provincial Park. Enjoy watersport rentals, fabulous trails for walking, running, cycling, mountain biking and birding. Close to wineries, ziplining, golfing, restaurants and boat launches at the nearby marina. A 20-minute drive to Port Dover and Simcoe attractions and 30 minutes to Long Point Provincial Park.
Our cabin by the lake has a wonderful, covered porch for family gatherings and meals. The backyard is private and quiet as it backs onto a conservation area. There is a fire pit and room for lawn games. No worries about car traffic as the cottage is on a cul-de-sac and off the main road. Most of the traffic you will see are the friendly residents or other vacationers walking or biking to the beach, or the large Turkey Point children's playground, which is steps from the cottage.
Inside you can enjoy a spacious open concept kitchen, dining and living room area. The kitchen is fully equipped. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Sheets, pillows and blankets are provided for the three queen beds. Bath towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels, beach chairs and beach toys. Shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, laundry detergent are available on site.
The internet is unlimited fibre. TV is Roku.
Guests enjoy the entire cottage and property. There is ample parking for at least 3 vehicles on an interlocking brick driveway.
