| Everything about our stay at this cottage was amazing. The host is very thorough and an excellent communicator. He responded promptly to any questions and before arrival he sent all of the information we would need. He allowed us an early check in, which gave us the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful afternoon on the water. We arrived to a generous welcome basket full of goodies. The cabin has so many lovely places to sit and relax and be with family. The kayaks and paddleboards were so much fun to use. We explored so many bays and islands by water. Plentiful blueberry picking close by. Nice area to walk the dogs. Very well-equipped kitchen, BBQ, and Blackstone grill. The cabin really had everything we needed and was so comfortable. The spaces are all generous. Perfect place! Great host! We've already booked for next summer!

| We loved staying here and we're all sad to leave!
First things first, the host was wonderful to deal with! We've booked a number of rental cottages over the years and I have to say that Ryan was hands down the most pleasant owner to work/communicate with. He was prompt, polite and gracious! We were also blessed by the generous welcome basket upon arrival and enjoyed everything in it!
The property is beautiful. We spent most of our time fishing the lake (my husband raved about how great it was), enjoying the paddle boards (my favorite), and relaxing on the beautiful deck--whether eating meals or drinking our coffee :) One note for families with really little children (we have a 15 month old)--the property is pretty steep down to the docks. We carried her around most of the time when we were outside.
Inside, the beds were all comfortable and the cottage was very clean. I was very happy with the nicely outfitted kitchen--everything you could need for preparing meals!
If your kids (or you yourself) enjoys looking for nice rocks--this is a great area to be in! We came away with a great quartz rock collection! My boys and I had alot of fun exploring by the lake.
Thank you again for a wonderful experience!

| On day one, we were welcomed with a basket filled with goodies. The cottage was very clean and packed with amenities and equipment. They did an excellent job renovating the place. The lake is very quiet. We enjoyed fishing and reading on the dock. The water is very calm, which was good for paddle boarding to the little islands at the end of the bay. Ryan was quick to respond to my emails and very nice. We can't wait to come back next year!

| We just returned home after our week long stay at Wild Birch Bungalow, a piece of heaven nestled amongst the white birches on Shoal Lake. The moment we walked in we fell in love with this cottage, we felt this way our entire stay. Ryan and Cecely are the ultimate hosts, kept us informed and answered all of our questions promptly. We felt so welcomed-the gourmet goody basket we spied on arrival certainly was appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed!!! We did not want for anything at Wild Birch Bungalow!!!! Our hosts have certainly seen to that and they are totally organized. If you are looking for peace and tranquillity this is the place. We were often the only ones down by the lake, interrupted only by the loons, duck family and Otter. We were ok with that. Our fav time was early in the morning with our coffee just taking it all in. The view is beautiful! The cottage is close to Kenora, a short paved road drive off the Trans Canada. Also close to Winnipeg. We drove from the Toronto area and it took us a while to finally arrive but we would do it again just to spend more time here. It was totally worth it and we highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!! Thank you Ryan and Cecely, so many happy memories were made here at Wild Birch Bungalow. Karen and Bob

| I visited for two nights with my bff and dog, Bristol and had a wonderfully relaxing, fall infused holiday. The cottage had absolutely everything (and extra), appreciated the thoughtful gift basket of treats and could not take my eyes off the amazing view. We spent most of our time by the firepit, enjoying the deck and BBQ, watching birds, sitting on the dock watching the Otter, Kingfisher and Loons on the lake and went for walks around the area to see the beautiful colors. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Absolutely stunning location. 10/10 would recommend - and I will definitely visit again!!
