About this space Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish chalet. Enjoy sunny afternoons by the dock and evenings by the fire. Perched above the shoreline on the Canadian Shield provides stunning views of 600 feet of scenic Provincial Park land across the shoreline. Stunning sunsets abound. 10 minutes drive to the Gravenhurst Wharf for restaurants, high tea, shops, and waterfront activities such as boat rentals and parasailing. Go for a day at the golf course at the Muskoka Bay Resort, only 15 minutes away The space The Knox Chalet is newly renovated and furnished for the 2022 summer season. Upon entering the chalet, you will be greeted with a large open space. The combined kitchen and dinning area is on the same level as the main bathroom and master bedroom. Four steps down takes you to the great room with beautiful cathedral ceiling and looks out into the lake. You will find another 2 bedrooms across from the great room. Up in the open concept loft, is a queen sized bed, a small bathroom with standing shower and a office area. Walk out directly onto the deck to enjoy a bbq at the outdoor dining table. Enjoy your get together outside on the sectional. Finally take the staircase down to enjoy the waterfront on the dock. We have a paddle boat and 2 kayaks for your recreational use. The end of the dock is a great place to jump off too cool down on a hot summer day! Guest access Guests will have access to the entire chalet, decks and waterfront dock. Other things to note
The Knox Chalet is perched on top of the Canadian Shield and there is a staircase that guests will need to take in order to get down to the waterfront dock.
Please note there is a MINIMUM of 5 NIGHTS booking during the summer (July & August).

| We had a fantastic stay at the Knox Chalet. Check-in was easy and we could deposit our luggage when we arrived early. The swimming is fantastic - clear and deep enough to dive right in. We all loved the kayaks and SUPs and were in the lake every morning and afternoon. We were 7 in the cottage - so the loft was also used. Need to be flexible here, but for us it was fine. The fridge could hold everything we needed with plenty of room for beverages. Lovely seating areas inside and out. The only negatives would be the low water pressure - but who showers at the cottage anyhow, and although the AC is wonderful, it would have been nice to be able to open the windows easier .We would definitely come here again!

| We stayed here for a weekend in the winter time. This cottage has been renovated recently. It's very clean and well maintained. It has all the amenities you would want in a cottage.
It's just by the Loon lake, and you have a nice view of the lake from the window and the balcony of the cottage.
The owners are amazing, very friendly and super helpful when it comes to any kind of support.
Highly recommend it!

| Thank you so much Jenny! My family and I had an amazing time at the Knox Chalet. The cottage was perfect, we didn't want to leave! The place was spacious, clean and inviting, like a page right out of a magazine! The beds were super comfortable. It is at a great location, near the end of the lake so it was nice and quiet. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. Excellent view from the cottage and down by the water.
It is very close to the Wharf which was convenient (less than ten minutes away). Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby.
Jenny was an amazing host. She is very friendly and super accommodating. Once again, thank you so much Jenny, we can not wait to return!!!

| I am very impressed with this cottage, location and the host. Jenny, is super friendly, trustworthy and accommodating. The Knox Chalet was exactly as advertised and more.
The chalet is bright, beautiful, spacious and newly renovated with attention to detail. Everything is very clean, new and well-kept. The bathrooms are luxurious and bedrooms clean and equipped with very comfortable beds. The kitchen is equipped with new, brand name appliances.
Being located near the end of loon lake, we were able to enjoy quiet time on a more private part of the lake. Loved how there was a shallow, calm area beside the dock for swimming and deeper water in front made for excellent fishing. Hundreds of small fish feeding by the dock was fun to watch and became a morning routine with my coffee.
A wide open, west-facing view from the dock which overlooked loon lake, made watching sunsets incredible.
All 3 kayaks were in excellent shape and were great for exploring and getting around the lake. The peddle boat was a fun touch as well.
There is no shortage of activities and places to explore in the area as its only about 10 mins to the Muskoka Wharf, grocery shops, public parks, the beach and more. The farmers market at the Wharf had a wide selection of fresh produce and specialty items. The smoked bbq ribs were the best I've ever had!
My wife and I loved everything about our stay at this chalet. We regret not booking for longer and will definitely be booking with Jenny again!
