Other things to note
POOL
Pool available for use at YOUR OWN RISK. Hosts assume no liability. Children must be monitored at all times. Pool is above ground with an elevated deck to access it. DO NOT climb into the pool from the ground level, enter from deck only. Deck has a gate that can be locked for children. NO diving.
Pool will be cleaned and chlorine added before your stay. As it is outdoors and right by a lake, there may be debris on the surface when you arrive. A pool skimmer will be available to use if you'd like.
OUTDOOR FIREPIT
Outdoor firepit is available to use at your own risk. You must bring your own firewood (sold at most local gas stations and Canadian Tires).
WATERSPORTS
We have a canoe, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboard available for guests to use. These are to be used at YOUR OWN RISK, hosts assume no liability. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Lifejackets must be worn while paddling on the lake, per the laws.
We have 3-4 adult (one size fits most) lifejackets available. Bringing your own lifejackets is recommended. We do not have any children's sized lifejackets. Guests must bring their own for children.
SWIMMING
The water off the dock/property can sometimes be too shallow for swimming for some people. There is a swimming spot (with picnic tables) exclusively for the neighbourhood just a 1 minute walk down on the same street.
