Enjoy a getaway in the city of Kawartha Lakes while just a stone throw from all the city has to offer at our vacation home at Lake Scugog. Enjoy this luxuriously furnished house and spend your time soaking up the sun from our waterfront property and cooling off by catching a few waves.
Blow off some steam in the sauna, also have a party in the hot tub. The lake house is newly renovated with luxury amenities throughout.
Enjoy canoeing, kayaking and fishing at Lake Scugog directly off the dock.

Gorgeous property and great amenities. We particularly enjoyed the "game garage" with table tennis and pool.
We made full use of the hot tub, sauna, fire pit and water craft (canoe and paddle/pedal boat).
We had some issues in the beginning but the owner promptly took care of things.
The cottage is located in a nice, quiet neighbourhood (so probably not ideal for noisy party freaks) but it suited us just fine.

Wonderful cottage experience! No regrets! We are very lucky to have chosen a cottage not too far of a drive and gave our family an amazing experience. The view once you enter the living room is already so relaxing and makes the whole experience worth it.
The owner was very responsive and addresses problems so quickly for us to maximize all the amenities of his place.
Do not worry when you forget something because they will for sure mail it back to you!

Great location and perfect cottage for a young family. Our family loved the pedal boat, pool table, kayak, table tennis and hot tub! Everything a family could ask for over and above a lake front cottage with dock.
Home was very neat, clean with towels and enough utensils.
The host was very responsive and extremely helpful.

I agree with another reviewer that Barbeque could have been better and a couple of furniture/fixture items needed a bit of fixing - nothing serious, just wear and tear.

Overall, great experience. Would highly recommend this to anyone!

A perfect cottage getaway for the whole family! The Scugog Lake House has a beautiful location directly on the lake with all the amenities for everyone to have a great time. The fact that it's only an hour outside of Toronto made planning a breeze.

There's a comfortable, large ground floor bedroom which was perfect for elderly grandma. In addition to the main common area, there is a large second common area downstairs with direct access onto the grassy backyard overlooking the lake. You can still watch the kids play in the backyard from the comfort of the main rec area. We loved going paddle-boating, kayaking, and canoeing on the pristine lake. When we got tired of playing in the lake or roasting marshmallows on the fire, I taught my kids how to play ping pong and pool in the rec room. We had an amazing weekend getaway here. I would highly recommend it!

This cottage offered the perfect escape from our busy life, it was a great place for me and my friends to enjoy all the amenities and the great sunset. I would recommend this to those with big families soo much to do from indoor games like ping-pong to kayaking.
