Welcome to the start of your stay in beautiful cottage country! Eh Frame Haus is located in Haliburton county situated on one of the biggest lakes in the surrounding area, Kennisis Lake! You will be enjoying privacy (private road), and all that lakeside cottage living has to offer. Kennisis Lake is a rock bottom lake, which means clean, deep waters for swimming and watersports. The cottage is protected by a nearby bay (great for safe swimming and sporting), overlooking the stunning views of the full lake. To make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, The Eh is equipped to handle all the tough love of cottage living, while offering you the comforts of a boutique stay. Main floor: gourmet kitchen with natural stone counters, mudroom, 3 piece washroom, Livingroom / dining room, as well as a spacious balcony overlooking the beautiful Kennisis lake. Balcony has alfresco style dining, as well as comfortable seating to be enjoyed throughout the day.
Located on the second floor is the Antler Room, Eh's primary bedroom, which boasts a luxurious King bed with a walk out to a private balcony (also overlooking the lake); The Blue Room, double bed; The Salmon Room, single bed. A budding library for those looking to get lost in a book, be inspired, start creating, or to learn more about local knowledge.
The cherry on top of The Eh is a playful kid's loft waiting to be discovered. Loft has a double bed and single bed. Down the spiral staircase to the lower level, is washer & dryer, 2 piece washroom and the Lakeview Suite, a bedroom sanctuary with Queen size bed. Lower level also boasts additional mudroom space, and walk out to private deck.
All linens and towels are provided with compliments.
The new handcrafted gourmet kitchen comes fully equipped with all of the appliances and utensils required to craft up your delicious meals. Basic spices, olive oil, as well as tea and coffee, which are provided with compliments.
Outdoor fun includes bonfire pit, BBQ, and yard games on top level. By the lake you have kayak, canoe, stand up paddleboards, water floaties, and all the lounging furniture to suite your leisure and entertainment needs. Dock is 20'x20', perfect for dock-side fishing and deep dives into the lake.
Once your stay is booked, your host will forward your curated vacation stay guest book which includes all the included features and amenities, sight seeing and activities (on the lake as well as in the surrounding areas), as well as recommended dining and good eats hot spots.

| We had a fantastic stay at Eh Frame Haus! The cottage is so unbelievably peaceful. It is nicely nestled away for rest, relaxation and privacy, but still has stunning access to the lakefront, swimming and water sports. The inside is thoughtfully decorated with unique touches, and all the outdoor space around the cottage is wonderful. Highly recommend staying here and hope to be back!

| We have rented this cottage in the past and loved the unique nature of such a quaint cottage on one of the most beautiful lakes . The transformation of this cottage is absolutely stunning . What a change ! The updated features and amenities make this a wonderful place to continue to enjoy Kennisis Lake and all it has to offer . Well appointed details . | this place is a DREAM! the cabin itself, the view, the amenities were amazing. Janessa was attentive and always just a text away - very responsive with her messages! the hot tub was definitely a favourite! you can tell these hosts really put their heart into this ?Eh-Frame? as every nook and cranny is so, so beautiful! we cannot wait to book again in the summer, and enjoy the lake on top of this gorgeous cabin! 12/10 recommend - run, don't walk :)

| Gorgeous vacation spot! Cottage is so stunning, very well planned and thought out. Clean, bright and freshly renovated, we loved our two weeks there!
And the lake, phenomenal! The water is nice and deep for swimming and all the water sports, or just enjoy the view while relaxing on the dock.
Can't wait to go back again!
