Note: Ahmic lake is a premier fishing destination as the connecting lakes and rivers support an incredibly wide variety of fish including Walleye, Large and Smallmouth Bass, Trout, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch. However, the lake's claim to fame is its spectacular Walleye fishing, which are large in number and weight. The lake comes equipped with a marina and boat launches. | Really great cottage. Modern amenities with a nature feel. It was a bit chilly outside to go in the lake, but the water was clean and the dock area was excellent. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are well kept, easy to use, and make for a comfortable stay. We were impressed with a good quality of a drinking water from the tap. Val is an excellent host. We had a very relaxing time with like-at-home feeling at the Ahmic Lakehouse cottage. Highly recommended.

| We just returned from this beautiful rental. The care and attention to big and little details made this a very special getaway. My nephews loved the giant connect 4 and tic tac toe on the wall of the 'kids' room! Experimenting with the pizza oven yielded amazing results and the hot tub was perfect. Thanks Val - your kindness and thoughtfulness permeates this property.

| The Ahmic Lakehouse was just wonderful. Val and Ben have thought of everything! The cottage was stocked with everything you could imagine and made meal times so easy. The pizza oven excellent! The games available, the hot tub and sauna made it relaxing and most enjoyable. The visiting moose was an added bonus!

| We have just returned from another spectacular Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful lake house that we loved so much last year. The addition this year of the Hot Tub and Sauna was so great! Our grandkids loved it (as did the adults) along with all other things available for our enjoyment! Val and Ben have done an outstanding job providing everything, assuring we are comfortable and their communications are outstanding. Thank you for another great Thanksgiving!

| We had a lovely time at the Ahmic Lake House. Firstly, Val is an excellent host. She was prompt to respond and very helpful. The house is in excellent condition. Clean and well stocked kitchen and pantry. The beds were comfortable beds and there were plenty of towels! The waterfront is perfect. Dock, beach, chairs, boats and all the toys for the (big kids). The real star is the hot tub/sauna/outdoor shower combo beside the house! Everything worked well and was very new and clean.
There was always something to do between the trampoline, basketball and volleyball net and so many more outdoor toys in the shed.
We were very pleased with the cottage and the hosts.
