Rare find on the Rideau Canal and Rideau Lakes system! Newly updated, "Pat's Place" had the same owner for over 35 years, but we recently purchased it and it is now available for you and your family/ friends to enjoy. It has wonderful views of Upper Rideau Lake, with 43 stairs down to 189 feet of pristine deep waterfront. It is ideal for 4 people, but can accommodate up to 6 people.
This all season cottage has air-conditioning for those hot summer days and heating + a wood-burning stove for those cold winter nights.
Features include a newly modernized kitchen with stainless steel fridge and stove (sorry no dishwasher). Open concept kitchen/ dining/living room includes a TV (wifi is available for streaming your favourite movies) with comfortable seating and dining space for up to 6 people.
This 3 bedroom cottage has a master bedroom upstairs with a Queen bed and a wonderful view of the lake. The second bedroom is also upstairs with two twin beds and a charming forest view to the North. There is also a cozy main floor bedroom with a futon couch/double bed, that can be converted to a den.
The bathroom is on the main floor and has been fully updated with new walk-in shower and heated floors.
Linens and towels will be available for 6 guests. Make sure to bring your own beach towels, life jackets etc. for water activities.
There is abundant private, outdoor space around the cottage and your own private dock. Come enjoy the outdoors and the south west views over the Upper Rideau Lake.
Evenings can be enjoyed on the deck overlooking the lake or by the fire pit where all can enjoy roasting marshmallows and eating s'mores while enjoying the amazing views overlooking the lake.
There is a BBQ for your lunches and dinners available on the outdoor deck. Take the staircase down to a beautiful private dock for swimming or just to enjoy the seating area for a relaxing day on the water.
Enjoy the local area: Charming Westport is just 15 minutes away where you can enjoy restaurants, shops and ice cream.
Access to the historic World Heritage Site, Rideau Canal system, is at your vacation rental doorstep. Also several trails are readily available with walks through Foley Mountain area or an excursion to the local Winery.
This is the perfect spot for a family, couple, or small group to enjoy a cottage retreat vacation! It is also ideal for anyone wishing to work from home in a serene and private setting for a week or more.
In consideration of neighbours, there are no parties permitted and we also ask that music and outdoor noise be reduced in the evening. Local bylaws prohibit any noise that disturbs the peace and comfort of other cottagers.
Rental Details:
Maximum six guests;
Parking for 2 vehicles;
Available for rent starting in May of each season.
For high season (Victoria Day long weekend until Labour Day) there will be a 7 day minimum rental (Friday to Friday)
From Labour Day until Victoria Day long weekend there is a 3 day minimum rental.
Check out is by 10:00 am Fridays and Check in is after 4:00 pm.
Laundromats are nearby in Westport, Smith Falls and Perth if required.

| A true, beautiful, peaceful getaway. Getting to the cottage is simple and the roads are easy to navigate, and the arrival was immediately welcoming as there was a lovely greeting from the owner. The owners were very responsive with any inquiries before arrival as well as after; there was a small hiccup that was out of the control of us or the owners that they still made sure to deal with as quickly as possible and was resolved quicker than anticipated on a long weekend.
The view is spectacular to just relax by, eat a meal on the beautifully spacious deck, or to enjoy the cozy fire pit. We enjoyed taking the seadoos out that were launched just a few minutes away and we were able to park them at the dock and make use of the handy boat lift. The water was so clear and enjoyable which was easy due to the nice seating and shade at the dock.
The rooms are cozy, spacious, and were nicely cooled by the AC during the hot temperatures. I would absolutely recommend Pat's Place and hope to be able to visit again, an absolute gem near Westport.

| We were so happy to stay at this fabulous cottage over May long weekend! Very nicely kept and updated with beautiful lake views. The bedrooms have very comfortable mattresses and linens. We slept so peacefully. Open concept kitchen/dining/living room is well laid out and opens onto a gorgeous deck overlooking the lake. Beautiful waterfront for swimming too! Everything with our stay was perfect, and the owner made everything so easy and welcoming. Highly recommend.

| We were so happy with what we found when we turned up at this cottage. Spacious cottage, and looks to be recently renovated, so an up to date feel without having lost the cottagey feel. Comfortable bed, comfortable furniture, spotlessly clean and with everything you need to hand. Perfect. The views outside are even better than the pictures show, and lots of sitting areas to enjoy it from, from a big deck to fire pit area to room on the dock. You can head outside with the book you've been determined to read but may well find your attention drifting out over the lake, hypnotised by the diamonds the sun scatters on the water. We were really pleased with the place, and communication with Meg & Mollie was easy. Don't hesitate.

| The cottage was very clean, organized and renovations were nicely done and gave a modern feel. Great location, only a 15 minute boat or car ride to the village of Westport.
Absolutely gorgeous view of lake from the large deck and super private dock. The boat lift was perfect for our 16' fishing boat. Communication with owners was amazing, very helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back very soon. Thanks Mollie and Meg!
