Our cottage features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a playroom (with Pandora's box video game and air hockey table), 2 living rooms (both with Smart TV's) and a games area with a pool table, dart board, and unlimited wifi. There is a spacious dock, large patio and firepit for outdoor entertaining. Rental includes use of our 3 Kayaks, stand up paddle board, floating lake mat, peddle boat and row boat. The screened in porch is a great place to enjoy dining or a card game on rainy days. We are located 10 minutes to Arrowhead Provincial Park, 20 minutes to Hidden Valley ski area, 20 minutes to Deerhurst Resort and there are ample snow mobile trails in the area. Huntsville is a 4 wheeler friendly community. Guests will have access to the entire cottage. There is one closet at the end of the main hallway on the main level, and one closet in the basement playroom which are locked/ off limits, but guests have access to all other areas.
Water Toys (Lake Mat, Kayaks, ect..) are out for use starting the Victoria Day long weekend in May until Thanksgiving Long weekend in October. All outdoor toys will be stored and unavailable for guests who book between Thanksgiving weekend in October - May 2-4 Weekend in May.
Summer Rental includes Lake Mat, Peddle Boat, Kayaks, Stand up Paddle Board, and Row Boat. Please note that although the Row Boat has a motor on it that boat can only be used as a row boat, guests will not be able to use the motor.
Other things to note
-We listed 4 beds - 2 are queen size beds, and the other 2 are a double bottom bunk and single top bunk
-One of the bedrooms with the queen size bed is on the lower level, the other queen bed and bunk bed are on the main level
-Our water system is lake water and we would not recommend drinking it. We do provide a cooler system and recommend that you bring a jug of water with you. These jugs can also be purchased at the local Walmart or Independent in Huntsville
-There is a nest camera door bell located on the front door that does record video & sound. Video footage will only be viewed if there are any issues (complaints from neighbors, property damage, or missing items).
-4 of the Televisions in the cottage are smart Televisions. They are not connected to cable but are all logged into Netflix, Amazon Prime, Roku TV, and Crave so there are ample viewing options.
-We have a strict 11am check out unless pre-discussed. We love to allow guests early check in/late check out if possible but this is 100% determined by our next guests check in and when the cleaner is scheduled to arrive. If you have not pre-negotiated a late check out (prior to check in) you will be charged $50 per half hour late check out fee.
-In order to receive your full deposit back please ensure you have completed all items on the end of stay check list. A copy of this will be on the table when you arrive, it can also be seen in the "house manual" section of air bnb. Failure to do so will result in some or all of your deposit not being returned.
-We have a strict maximum occupancy of 6. We reserve the right to terminate the rental immediately without refund if there are more than 6 guests on the property. Entrance is monitored with video doorbell
-We only accept bookings from guests 25 and older
-Ripple Lake does not have a public boat launch and there is not a location to rent a boat. It is a small lake which makes it perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding, only surrounding cottages can access the lake.

Arrowhead Provincial Park is located one exit South. There are 3 public beaches as well as ample Summer/Winter trails. They are also famously known for their Fire and Ice Winter event and their outdoor skating trails. 1 Arrowhead park pass is included with the rental so these amenities can be enjoyed at no charge. | Beautifully furnished, Amazing views, variety and number of games, books collection kept us entertained on the gloomy grey rainy days that we were there at the cottage. It was spacious enough, clean and not smelling musty like some other cottages do. We are looking forward to returning on a sunny summer day to enjoy the large body of water there plus the forest setting it is nestled in.
