| We recently stayed at the Loon Street lodge with extended family. We had 3 children under 10 with 4 adults and 2 dogs. It has great rustic charm with beautiful lake views!! The shallow lake was great for little ones as well as the games room and childrens play area downstairs. So many things to keep everyone busy. The cottage was clean, plenty of room and very family orientated. Sally was easy to reach and responds quickly. We would love to go back again.

| We had a great stay at the cottage! We enjoyed the atmosphere and all of the amenities provided. The kitchen had everything you could need for a week away. There were lots of seating options indoors and the beds were comfy! Our kids are 10 & 12 and they very much enjoyed the games room! We liked that there were so many different outdoor seating areas to enjoy, sun or shade were always easy to find. The BBQ is well insulated from wind making it usable at any time we were there. The hot tub was well used. We were excited to take out the paddle board, kayaks and peddle boat! Once you get past the rocky shore (maybe 3 steps in the water) it's nice and sandy. We had a mix of stormy and sunny weather and were never at a loss for things to do to be entertained. Our son took full advantage of the Lego and gaming systems on rainy days. Our daughter decided to become a pool shark :)
The owner was excellent to deal with and very attentive to anything we needed and there are some excellent neighbours there to help out on site if you needed something.
A note about the lake: This is an extremely shallow lake! You could walk 30ft out from the dock and still be in only 4-5ft of water. If you are looking for a lake to jump off the dock and swim around in this is likely not the lake for you. If you are looking to learn some water sports or fish this could be a great fit.
We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a getaway.

| This cottage is absolutely magical!!! It has all the incredible comforts of home and so much more. The cottage was so clean upon arrival. We felt welcome and comfortable in this beautiful space. All rooms are large with lots of space to move around. The TV room downstairs was so cozy. Lots of books and games to play and pass the time away. The main living room is extraordinary! The fireplace adds great ambiance. Kitchens and bathrooms etc well stocked and very organized. The games room is exceptional. Hot tub was fantastic! The lawn is well maintained and the water is clean and clear. Easy and safe entry into the water. So refreshing! The host was so helpful before and during our stay! We will definitely be back to the Loon Lake Cottage. It allowed for great relaxation, rest and rejuvenation. Highly recommend!

| We were fortunate to have the opportunity to spend 2 nights at the Loon Street Lodge in Janetville. The whole experience was phenomenal- from the gorgeous cottage to the amazing property on the water. The hosts provided detailed information and instructions on all aspects of the cottage and property, and ensured that all amenities were clean and in great condition. Our whole family loved the opportunity to reconnect with one another in the warm and inviting atmosphere and decor of the cottage. Sitting together in the hot tub on a crisp fall day, while overlooking the water? Priceless. We will definitely be booking another visit to this unique property soon. The Whillans Clan

| My husband and I stayed here with our boys in the summer and it couldn't have been more perfect. I've always wanted to drink my coffee and watch the sun come up on the water, it's such a beautiful property! My boys had fun playing all the games provided, swimming and counting the coins in the fireplace lol. We can't wait to try a winter stay!
