Welcome to The River Wood - our home away from home; built in 2021 with all of the comforts of home and the beauty of our Lake viewed from every floor. Not currently accepting bookings.
With a gorgeous location on the tip of a bay on a beautiful clear week free lake, there's everything you'd need for a perfect lake-based vacation. Clear water for swimming from a shallow, sandy walk-in to deep water off the dock and for those booking later in the summer, when the water levels drop, a sandy beach is revealed. Plenty of water toys are included; a lily pad, kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard and a paddleboat.
This boutique lakehouse includes a main level great room with cathedral ceilings, dining area and gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and Monogram appliances (including a 36" gas stove the chef of the group will love).
The main floor has the primary bedroom (king)(with ensuite bathroom), a powered room washroom, as well as a huge deck and Muskoka room for screened-in comfort.
In the loft, you'll find two bedrooms and a full bathroom while the lower level has another bedroom and full bathroom, as well as a family area with a walkout to the lakefront side and unbelievable views.
You'll find all the comforts of home here; air conditioning, propane furnace, fireplace on the lower level for the cooler evenings, unlimited Wi-Fi, laundry etc. This is the perfect space for your time at the lake, both inside and out.
We also have excellent internet service, where you can work from the cottage (if need be), stream movies, and post your vacation pics anytime.
Location is close to many amenities.
Linens, bathroom towels, and toilet paper/paper towels are included with your stay. Beach towels are required to be brought by the guest. A cleaning service is provided, however, the cottage is to be left in the condition you found it.
All garbage must be taken by the guest to the dump. A dump card is provided.
