A beautiful four seasons home on the Madawaska River; surrounded by approx. 150 acres of mixed forest.
This home is open concept with the living dining and kitchen areas open to each other. There are main floor, and lower level bedrooms. The house is heated by a new electric furnace and also has air conditioning. There is a 3 sided propane fireplace on the lower level. It is equipped with 4 major appliances and a washer /dryer which guests can use.
Summer activities include kayaking, swimming, and hiking. There are horseshoes and washer games for use. There is an outdoor sauna on the patio and outdoor firepit.
In winter, you can take part in snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and downhill skiing at Calabogie Peaks (located 16km away). Relax in the living room and enjoy the beautiful river views with spectacular sunrises. Sunset splashes the opposite shore with a beautiful golden glow. The sliding glass door leads out to a spacious deck with dining area.
Amenities include a fully equipped modern Kitchen and BBQ, internet service, and Smart TV. The main floor bathroom has an over sized Jacuzzi bath tub.

Just got home after a fantastic week at this cottage. Caught a vast amount of different fish which was the highlight of the trip for my family. Big windows and top deck offer beautiful views.
The cottage has very clean, comfortable rooms, large well stocked kitchen and tons of space both upstairs and down stairs. It was nice to not have to worry about bringing towels or sheets. They were all supplied. The jacuzzi tub and sauna were an added bonus. We had some cooler nights so it was appreciated.
It really was a very calm, quiet place where you could sit back and relax without a care in the world.
Dianne was very quick to answer any questions I had which made the rental process so much easier.

We had an amazing week! The cottage is situated on a beautiful piece of land close to the shoreline. Big windows and top deck offer beautiful views of the lake. The lake is quiet and full of beautiful wildlife!

The cottage was beautiful inside as well. Tastefully decorated and offers more than expected! Comfortable rooms, large well stocked kitchen and tons of space both upstairs and down stairs.

We have already booked again for summer 2024!
