Relax with the whole family at our waterfront cottage on Colpoys Bay (near Wiarton) which is part of the famously clear waters of Georgian Bay. We have renovated the cottage to honour the artist who lived here previously. Numerous upgrades to bedrooms, bathrooms, decks, and waterfront access. This is a perfect location to watch the sunrise. Kayaks and paddle boards are available for use. The Bruce Trail is nearby for great hiking. Includes amenities such as fridge, stove, propane fireplace, microwave, internet, guitar, television (with firestick) and laundry. Outdoor space includes 4 decks and shoreline which allows for plenty of outdoor areas for socializing or finding a place to enjoy a book on your own. Recently renovated bunkie with new flooring, shiplap on walls, electric fireplace, 8' ceilings, new windows, along with bunkbeds (double on bottom, single on top). | Our family of 8 had a wonderful time staying at Sanctuary Wood. There was room for all of us with get together spaces as well as quiet tuck yourself away with a good book spaces. Waterfront was wonderful and we spent a couple nights down there watching the meteorite shower. Some blazing ones this year.

| Everything as described! Cozy. Gorgeous view in winter! Had a few issues and owners wanted to drive up right away to fix it. I did it and he took care of me very well.
Communication was instant and any issues resolved!!!

| My Family (2 grandchildren, 5 adults) had a wonderful time at Sanctuary Wood.
The cottage is well maintained and very spacious. My daughter and I did yoga on the desk Sunday morning, and my son-in-law found it the perfect spot for his afternoon exercise workout.
My 6-yr old grandson loved finding 'special 'rocks along the waterfront and painting them, while the 17-yr old really enjoyed the SUP and kayaks (we did too!).
The water in Colpoy's bay is crystal clear and while I found it cold, we did swim every day.
Brian was always helpful and responded quickly to my emails.
It was a great week!

| In July 2023 my family (wife, son, mom, dad, sister and 2 nephews) stayed at the Sanctuary Wood.
Brian and Lisa have created an absolute paradise for rest and relaxation.
The cottage and bunkie are extremely cozy and have multi spaces for the family to play games/watch movies and enjoy cooking meals together.
Once you get outside, the views will take your breath away. We thoroughly enjoyed time reading, doing yoga and seeing our son take his first trip on a kayak.
Yes the water is cold, but also unbelievably refreshing and definitely helps you sleep well at night.
If you are looking for a spot to immerse yourself in calmness and relaxation, you will not be disappointed here!
