| Such a beautiful cottage! Fiona was always prompt in answering questions. Had a beautiful time on Buckhorn lake- swimming, boating, going through the locks and campfires. The beds were extremely comfortable. Thank you for lovely memories!

| My family and I had an amazing time at Fiona's cottage, the experience was seamless and stress-free. Fiona provided us with the pin pad code before our arrival, making check-in a breeze. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a lovely gift basket awaiting us.
The main living area is an absolute oasis of light, featuring an open concept layout that showcases a breathtaking view of the lake. This space can accommodate larger groups or two families comfortably.
The location of the cottage is perfect, situated on a picturesque part of the lake. As I am paddler, I brought my outrigger canoe, and I couldn't have been happier with the calm waters and stunning views. The large lake system offers scenic routes that can be explored for hours on end. For families with kids, there's a delightful beach area, providing the little ones with a safe and enjoyable space to play. The water is remarkably clean, which only added to our overall enjoyment.
One minor point to consider is that during peak times, particularly on Saturdays when most cottage-goers are present, there may be slightly more water traffic. However, boats typically remain at a distance given the ample width of this part of the lake.
We cannot recommend staying at Fiona's cottage enough. It's a charming retreat with a prime location, offering a delightful experience for families. The thoughtfulness of the host and the beauty of the surroundings combine to create an unforgettable experience.

| My family spent a week at this gorgeous cottage and we had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Upon arrival, the cottage was spotless and had a beautiful gift basket waiting for us. My kids never wanted to leave! Fiona and her family have thought of everything to keep the kids entertained while the grownups sit back and relax.
The beds were incredibly comfortable, they had every kitchen gadget imaginable, plenty of parking, a view of the lake from every room and great water activities for the whole family. My husband and I loved barbecuing and having dinners outside as well as sitting by the fire while watching the kids swim in the shallow water. The lake was nice and quiet, with not alot of boat traffic.
Fiona was very friendly and easy to communicate with and the check in and out experience was seamless.
I would highly recommend this cottage.

| My family and I stayed at the Kawartha Lakefront Cottage last summer and had a terrific experience. The host was warm, welcoming, and responsive, and provided all we needed for a restful stay. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable ? the hardest part was leaving! There was even a bouncy castle and kayaks for our little ones to use, which made for fun, summer memories that we reminisce about to this day.

| We had an incredible time at this cottage. We stayed in the upstairs room and had an amazing view of the lake from the balcony. There's lots of space, even with 3 beds (really comfy ones too). There's 2 more spacious bedrooms on the first floor and very comfortably accommodated our party of 7 with more room to spare.
The kitchen dining area was beautifully renovated; new appliances and a giant table to gather around for dinner. Lots of utensils and kitchenware to use, even some for the kids. Living room and the little den area is quaint; looks out onto the lake and makes the perfect place to hang out and relax.
I think the kids had the most fun during our stay, there's endless activities and amenities for them that my girl knocked out within seconds of hitting the pillow at night. The water was clear and the lake wasn't incredibly busy, even at the height of summer. I really enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the little fire pit and having lunch overlooking the lake. Definitely plan for more than a weekend if you want to explore all the things to do!
Outstanding getaway from the busy city life, highly recommended!
